Dinner was splendid. After dinner, King Gavin invited us to take a walk in the gardens. I was excited. I want my family to see the beauty of this place, of their new home...hopefully.
My little brothers was at awed at the place. My parents and grandmother were astonished. While they were frozen at the sight of the gardens, my brothers went ahead and ran. Not much snow have fallen but it was building up at some parts.
"Don't get lost and Nolan look after your little brother!" Mother called out after her trance.
"Okay, okay!" Nol said as he followed Xander.
"I never thought I'll live to see a garden so beautiful and grand as yours, Your Majesty," my grandmother said as she put a hand over her heart. "Never!"
King Gavin laughed. "Well I'm sure you have."
"Maybe," Grandmother said, smiling then she sat on the bench that King Gavin gestured to us all to sit on.
"Ezra and I are going to take walk," Gabriel told his father.
Father smiled. "Of course."
Gabriel turned to my parents and grandmother. "Enjoy the view, refreshments will be coming soon."
"Thank you," Father said, nodding to him.
"Thank you so much," Mother said smiling.
Grandmother just grinned.
I waved at them all. "See you soon!" Then I followed Gabriel into the deeper parts of the garden. Hopefully we won't crash into my little brothers.
Gabriel led us to a little hidden spot, surrounded by tall scrubs. He smiled as he took my hand and kissed it. I looked into his eyes as he did this.
"I can't believe I met you," he whispered.
I chuckled. "Yes?"
He laughed. "I'm lucky to come across you, Ezra."
I smiled. "You're making my cheeks hurt, Gabriel."
He caressed my cheek. "I love seeing you smile. It brings the light to my day."
I put my hands on my cheeks. My hand caught Gabriel's and he smiled.
"Do you really want to marry me?" I asked.
"Yes, that's all I ever want. I want a life with you. Do you really want to marry me?"
"Yes, I want to be yours."
"And I want to be yours, too," Gabriel said.
I looked into his green eyes before I put my arms around him. He put his hands on my waist and then our lips clashed.
I love this man.
We pulled apart and Gabriel looked at awe at me.
"I love you, Ezra," he breathed.
I smiled, causing my cheeks to hurt more. "I love you, too, Gabriel."
He held my hand. "Let's head back. The refreshments are probably there already."
"Okay," I said.
We got back and I noted that Nol and Xander were already drinking their hot chocolate.
Phew!
My family was speaking to King Gavin with their mugs of hot chocolate in their hands. I smiled at the sight.
My family and Gabriel's family were together at last. I turned to Gabriel and he turned to me. I realized he have noticed too.
"Can't wait for next week," he said.
