Four years went by since the coronation. Things in Endhart no longer seemed mysterious. There were no longer carriages leaving with crying women. The royals smiled more and came out to visit the village, engaging with their people.

Things for Endhart were looking great. Gabriel and I attended many balls and conferences that improved the working status of our villagers and many from other kingdoms.

King Gavin and Queen Keira didn't got back together but still ruled together. The scandal never went out to the rest of the royal society but only to family.

Speaking of family, I have some news to share.

My mother and father was expecting another child and I have heard that it was going to be a girl.

My brothers now go to public school and made lots of friends. Although they complain of the loads of homework they have gotten.

My grandmother have actually met a handsome noble her age and I was happy that she was finally able to have a life after a lifetime of farming.

Now onto some other news.

I have heard that Asher met someone else in a far away kingdom across the sea but he never forget his son with Queen Keira. He sends letters every three weeks. Although he could be allowed to still keep contact, there was one condition. He wasn't allowed to come to Endhart at all. He was banished.

Will was now courting a girl from the village and I heard from Mila that he and her were the village's sweethearts.

Mila, on the other hand was a studious girl. She was on her way to become a teacher. Although I have heard she had her eye on someone and that someone had his eye on her too.

My maids finally got their break and visited their families every month.

My friends from the royal kitchen got more help and I often lend a hand.

Ethan was now five years old and he was loved by everyone in the kingdom, although his father's identity remains a secret.

Gabriel and I are happy being the married couple. I get swamped with dates and kisses. He gets swamped with kisses and things that make him laugh.

We still haven't gotten around to having children but it was in our future. For the time being, we relish in the moments where there are only the two of us.

We were at the fields now, watching the sunset fade away to let the stars shine brightly.

We were having a little picnic. Now we laid down on the blanket with our basket pushed aside onto the grass.

I laid my head on Gabriel's chest. His arm was wrapped around me and his other arm was to rest his head a bit. I looked down at my hand and looked at the engagement and wedding ring. I smiled.

"What are you smiling about, my princess?" Gabriel asked.

"I'm smiling about the happiness that was brought upon us once we were married. I'm happy that I chose a life with you, Gabriel."

Gabriel reached for my hand and kissed it, meeting my eyes. "I'm happy too. Every waking minute, I always feel so lucky to have you as my best friend, my supporter, my wife, my princess, my Ezra, I love you."

I giggled at his words.

"I am in love with you, Ezra, I always will be."

I grinned. "And so am I. Always."

Then he leaned in and kissed me under the bright stars.
