"Your phone's ringing."

The voice took her by surprise and Rosy turned to see Marley standing on the other side of her locker door. She hadn't heard the brunette sneak up beside her. She hadn't heard her phone buzzing against the bottom of her locker either, but that was expected. It had been weeks since Luke had cheated on her and she had been moving through life like a zombie. She ate the food her dad put in front of her, she got herself and Cal to school on time, and she completed her assignments, but other than doing what was absolutely required of her, she wasn't really there. She hadn't even been attending glee club meetings for the past couple of weeks.

"Are you going to answer it?" Marley asked and Rosy simply shook her head before slipping her phone into her pocket. She knew who was calling and she had no interest in responding. She had no interest in picking up any of his phone calls ever again. She was better off blocking his phone number if only to save herself from the annoying buzzing five times a day, but that would mean pulling his number up on her phone and seeing the photo of the two of them that she had saved with his contact. She didn't have the heart to do that just yet.

She shut her locker door, unsure of why she had even opened it in the first place, before setting off down the hallway. It took her a second to notice Marley following her and she glanced back at the younger girl, her eyebrows raised questioningly.

"I've noticed you haven't been at the past few glee rehearsals," Marley said and Rosy shrugged.

"I haven't really been in the mood," Rosy said, her tone dull, and Marley nodded.

"I get that," Marley responded, making Rosy raise her eyebrows at her. "Not that I'm trying to say that I know what you're feeling or anything, because I don't. But just because I heard what happened and I think that what he did was really awful and I'm really sorry." Marley said quickly and Rosy was quiet for a moment.

"Did Sam tell you?" Rosy asked and she was grateful when Marley shook her head. She had very few people left in Lima that she felt like she could rely on and she considered Sam to be one of them, so she was grateful that he wasn't going around spreading her business to the whole glee club.

"No, Unique did. But I'm pretty sure she heard it from Tina," Marley said, making Rosy roll her eyes at the name.

"Of course she did," Rosy muttered under her breath. She wondered how Tina had found out, to begin with, but she knew that the girl was as sneaky as she was petty and had probably eavesdropped on one of the few conversations that Rosy had had with Sam about it.

"So, are you thinking of auditioning for the musical?" Marley asked, and Rosy followed her gaze to the sign-up sheet at the end of the hall. She paused in her walking when she saw the two boys standing in front of it. Blaine stared back at her, letting his conversation with Sam trail off as she held his gaze.

"Rosy-" Blaine began, taking a step toward her, but she held up her hand, effectively stopping him mid-apology.

"I don't know why you're trying to talk to me, I genuinely have no interest in hearing what you have to say," Rosy said, her voice cold, and Marley and Sam both looked away from the conversation awkwardly.

"Rosy, I'm sorry-"

"I don't care. You've been walking around school all mopey for the past few weeks as if you want people to take pity on you and it's bullshit. You're the one who fucked up. And it's fucking disgusting-" Rosy began, ignoring the way he flinched at her tone.

"Rosy," Sam said, cutting her off, and she turned to him for the first time. He had a pleading look on his face and after hesitating for a second, she sighed and rolled her eyes.
