Rosy was at her locker, shuffling through the mess of notebooks and papers, searching for her history paper.
"I've only been at school for two months and my locker is already a pigsty," Rosy muttered to herself. "Stupid notebooks and stupid class and stupid teachers and-"
"Wow, seems like you're falling apart without me, Moons." A familiar voice said from behind her, cutting her off. Rosy turned around, her mouth dropping open as she stared at Puck in shock. He raised his eyebrows and held his arms out to her and she hesitated only for a second before jumping into them. Puck laughed, lifting her off the ground slightly as he hugged her back tightly.
"I'm guessing you missed me?" Puck asked and Rosy nodded against his shoulder.
"You have no idea," Rosy said, burying her face into his shoulder, partly to hide the tears that had sprung into her eyes and partly to just breathe him in, as weird as that sounded. They stayed like that for a minute before he set her down and she shut her locker door before they started to walk down the hallway together.
"Okay, updates, go." Puck said and Rosy paused to think about what had happened while he was gone. Well, I think I'm falling for the girl that had your baby and that you were in love with (and are possibly still in love with) but I can't tell anyone because not only is she a girl and I'm still not sure why I'm feeling this way about a girl since I've never felt this way before, but also who can I tell, really?
"Rosy?" Puck said, snapping her out of her thoughts.
"Hmm? Oh, updates, sorry, okay, well Finn and Rachel are still completely obsessed with each other, Artie and Brittany were kinda a thing for like a day, and Artie told me that he had sex with her but then he realized that she was only using him for his voice for this duet competition we had, then this new guy, Sam-"
"The one you hate, the one who killed your camera." Puck said and Rosy nodded. I don't hate him that much.
"Yeah, him, he joined glee club and he and Quinn won the duets competition." She watched Puck's face carefully here but he caught her looking and rolled his eyes.
"I'm fine, Rosy." Puck promised and Rosy nodded.
"Okay, just checking. Anyways, so they won and then we did Rocky Horror for the school musical this year and then Ms. Pillsbury's boyfriend accused Mr. Schue of fooling around with Ms. Pillsbury and then we were all like 'oooo' and then we ended up just doing the musical for ourselves since it was too inappropriate. Oh and Finn almost got suspended for walking down the hallway in nothing but his underwear." Rosy finished and she turned to see the stunned look on her best friend's face.
"Wow, okay, that's...a lot, but when I said updates, I meant on you. I don't care about the rest of them, I only care about you." Puck said, wrapping an arm around her waist and she rolled her eyes, but she was smiling.
"Oh well, not much has happened with me," Rosy admitted, shrugging.
"Is it 'cause you've realized that I bring all the excitement to your life?" Puck asked teasingly and Rosy rolled her eyes again.
"No." Yes.
"How about Mike, how's that going?" Puck asked and Rosy shrugged. Rachel's rebound strategy had actually been sort of working, even though Rosy was still trying to find someone male to be her rebound. But she had found herself staring at Quinn during rehearsals instead of Mike and the other day she had sat down next to him without even realizing it until she had looked up at him to ask if he could quiz her on her Spanish vocab with the flashcards she had made.
"I think I'm actually starting to get over him," Rosy said honestly and Puck smiled down at her.
"That's great, Moons. And now we know that you can actually survive without me." Puck said, ruffling her hair and she pushed his hand away, glaring playfully.
