"Hey Rach, what happened?" Rosy found Rachel sitting in the Carmel High auditorium looking shaken up. The two girls still hadn't made up, but when Quinn had called Rosy and told her to come quick because Rachel needed her, Rosy hadn't hesitated.
"Rosy? What are you doing here?" Rachel asked, a shocked look on her face.
"Quinn called me, said that something had made you upset and for me to come quickly. What happened?" Rosy asked, noticing the tear tracks on Rachel's cheeks.
"I...I found her." Rachel said and Rosy waited for her to say more.
"Found who?"
"My mom, I found her." Rachel said and Rosy quickly took the seat beside her friend.
"Oh, Rach, that's great," Rosy said and she moved to hug her, but Rachel stopped her.
"No, it's not great. She said...she said that she shouldn't have done it. That this...we were wrong." Rachel said and Rosy frowned before pulling Rachel against her in a hug, not caring that they hadn't exactly made up yet because Rachel needed her right now.
"There is nothing wrong with you, Rachel. She's the one that has something wrong. You're perfect, Rach and if she doesn't see that then she doesn't matter. You've gone your whole life without you, you certainly don't need her now." Rosy said, rubbing her friend's shoulder soothingly.
"She said it was wrong."
"Rachel, who cares about her? Well, I know you do, but you shouldn't. You are surrounded by people who love you and care about you and you don't need her. You've got me and Jesse and FInn and your dads and the rest of the New Directions. We're your family, Rach." Rosy said, but it was as if her words were falling on deaf ears because Rachel just kept muttering "she said it was wrong" and all Rosy could do was hug her friend tightly.

Rosy was struggling to walk down the hallway in the tall heels Kurt had lent her and she nearly tripped and fell on her face, but someone caught her just in time. She looked up and smiled when she saw it was Mike.
"You okay?" He asked as he steadied her and she nodded.
"Yeah, I'm good. Thanks for catching me." Rosy said, tucking her hair, which she'd finally let out of its high ponytail for one, behind her ear.
"It was no problem," Mike said, smiling at her. "I like the costume," Mike said, gesturing to the short, sparkly silver dress Rosy was wearing and she smiled as fixed some of the sequins.
"Thanks, it's the outfit Gaga wore after her performance at the Grammys this year. I had the headpiece too, but I had to take it off because I kept on hitting people with it." Rosy explained and Mike laughed. The girls and Kurt had decided to all come to school dressed in Lady Gaga's most iconic looks this week and Rosy and Rachel had stayed up all night last night watching Gilmore Girls and making their costumes.
"Well, you look great," Mike said and Rosy felt herself blush.
"Thanks," Rosy said, laughing as she accepted his hand and they walked into the choir room together, Rosy gripping Mike's hand tightly so she wouldn't fall as he helped her take her seat between him and Puck.

Rosy was in the bathroom of the diner, struggling to apply the same makeup that Lady Gaga was wearing in the photo she had propped up against the mirror, when someone tried to open the door.
"Occupied!" Rosy yelled through the door.
"Sorry, honey. You've been in there a long time, everything okay?" Rosy heard Julia ask.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Rosy said, unlocking the door. "I'm just trying to do this makeup correctly." Rosy explained, gesturing to her face with the makeup brush she had borrowed from Santana.
"You want me to help? I have a pretty steady hand." Julia offered, holding up her hand and Rosy grinned.
"Yes please." She said, handing over the brush before going to sit on top of the closed toilet seat. Julia worked in silence for a few minutes until Rosy broke it.
"Hey, Jules?"
"Hmm?"
"Do you think you'll ever have kids?" Rosy asked and Julia looked at her in surprise.
"Well, I'd like to find a husband first and then maybe, I guess. But until then, I have you right?" Julia said, pinching Rosy's cheek gently. "I mean, I've always kinda thought of you as my daughter." Julia said softly and Rosy felt herself start to tear up. "Hey, hey, hey, what's wrong?" Julia asked, bending down.
"Nothing, I just...I've always kinda thought of you as my mom too." Rosy said, shrugging and Julia smiled before gently brushing the tears from her cheeks.

When Rachel showed up on Rosy's doorstep after school the next day, tears in her eyes, Rosy silently let her in. They walked to the living room together and Rosy put Gilmore Girls on TV and then she sat and waited patiently.
"She came to tell me goodbye today." Rachel said finally and Rosy sighed before holding out her arms to her friend who gratefully climbed into them, resting her head against Rosy's chest.
"Rach, I am so so sorry." Rosy said, rubbing Rachel's back soothingly.
"It's okay. You were right, what you said before. I am surrounded by so many amazing people who love me, like you, and that's enough." Rachel said and Rosy smiled softly at her. "And, Rosy, I am so sorry for everything I said to you."
"Rach, it's fi-"
"No, it's not fine. I was horrible to you and I'm so sorry. I was wrong, you have nothing to be jealous about. The truth is, I'm jealous of you. You're so nice, unbelievably nice, you're always doing the right thing and it just comes so easily to you. I don't have that. I never do nice things and even when I do, it's usually so that I get something in return." Rachel said, frowning.
"Rachel, stop." Rosy said, turning her friend to make her look at her. "What you did to Jesse and Finn and Puck was wrong, but I can understand where you were coming from and you made a mistake. And you're right, you're not the nicest person in the world, but don't worry, I still love you." Rosy teased and Rachel laughed.
"Can we be best friends again?" Rachel asked and Rosy smiled at her.
"Who said we ever stopped?" Rosy said and Rachel laughed before the two girls hugged each other tightly. They sat in silence after breaking apart, turning back to watch the TV, until Rachel spoke.
"Rosy?"
"Hmm?"
"Do you ever miss your mom?" Rachel said and Rosy sighed, not surprised with the question, she had expected Rachel to ask her it sooner or later.
"I used to. I used to wish she'd come back home to me every single day." Rosy said, hugging a pillow against her chest tightly.
"But then?" Rachel asked quietly and Rosy sighed again.
"But then I realized that I shouldn't. I shouldn't waste my time on someone who had chosen to leave me, and instead focus on the people who decided to stay." Rosy said and Rachel reached forward and took her hand, squeezing it.
"I'm glad you've decided to stay with me." Rachel said and Rosy smiled softly at her.
"Don't worry, Rach, I'm never leaving."
