Rosalinda Alvarez adjusted her grip on her camera and brought it up to her face. She focused on some Cheerios practicing their routine and captured the shot at just the right moment when two of the boys launched Quinn Fabray in the air. She turned around in the parking lot and saw a car driving in, the sun shining down on its light blue top and took another photo. She watched as Will Schuester walked out of his car and waved to a group of football players surrounding Kurt Hummel near a dumpster, oblivious to the 'save me' look Kurt was shooting him, and instead reminded Finn Hudson to turn in an overdue assignment.
As soon as Mr. Schuester walked away, the football players gathered Kurt up, ignoring his protests, and dumping him into the trash. Rosy winced, hearing the squish of Kurt hitting the disgusting garbage from where she was standing near the school entrance. Disgust curled in her stomach as she watched the jocks laughing and slapping high-fives and she wanted nothing more than to go over to them and tell them how rude and mean it was to do that to a person, but she knew that they'd just laugh at her or toss her in too and that wouldn't help Kurt at all. Not that she'd blame the football players if they laughed at her, she didn't look very intimidating, it was hard to look threatening when you were a 5'5, average looking brunette, who hid behind her camera 24/7. She sighed, stared at the football players one last time, before turning around and walking into the school building.

It was passing time in between classes and Rosy was supposed to be on her way to Spanish class, but she was stalling and taking photos instead. That probably solved the mystery of why she was always running into class seconds before the bell rang, her camera sticking out of her bag and her headphones hanging around her neck.
She stood in a corner of the hallway, snapping pictures here and there whenever she saw something interesting. A girl walked past Rosy, bumping her shoulder as she went, causing Rosy's camera to slip out of her hands, but she caught it just in time.
"Excuse you," Rosy said, but the girl didn't hear and when Rosy looked up she saw it was Rachel Berry. Ah, of course, she wouldn't pay any attention to me. Rosy watched Rachel as she stared at a paper pinned up on the bulletin board, excitement evident in her eyes. She carefully wrote her name on the paper and stuck a shiny, gold star sticker on it, oblivious to Noah Puckerman watching her, a wicked smirk on his face.
But, Rosy noticed him and she knew that this wasn't going to end well. She wasn't wrong because as soon as Rachel turned away from the paper, Noah walked by, throwing a red slushie in her face as he passed. Rosy watched as the sophomore gasped, the slushie sticking to her hair, clothes, and face, blending in with her equally red cheeks, which were flaming from embarrassment. Rosy watched for a second longer, but just as she was thinking of stepping forward to help, Rachel ran to the bathroom.
Rosy sighed as she watched her go. From what she'd observed over the past couple of weeks, Rachel was an ambitious girl who loved herself very much, but not many people felt the same about her as she felt for herself. She also was known to have signed up for every single club in school, not including the Celibacy Club or Cheerios, so Rosy wondered what other clubs were left in school that Rachel hadn't signed up for.
Curiosity getting the better of her, Rosy tentatively stepped out of her corner, scanning the hallway for any jocks holding slushies, but there were none in sight. She slowly walked over to the bulletin board and used the sleeve of her thin, light gray sweater to wipe off some of the red slushie that had landed on the paper. It was a sign-up sheet for the New Directions, which explained why Noah had thrown the slushie in Rachel's face. Glee Club wasn't exactly the most popular extra-curricular in school and it was filled with losers and nobodies. People exactly like Rosy.
