Rosy and Sam were once again studying in her living room but instead of paying attention to the textbook in her lap, Rosy was crumpling up pieces of paper and tossing them at Sam. The blond had been ignoring her, eyes glued to his own textbook but when the fifteenth paper ball hit his head, he finally looked up.
"Why are you always asking me to study with you if you never do any actual studying? If I didn't know any better, I'd think that you just wanted to spend time with me." Sam said and Rosy rolled her eyes at that.
"In your dreams, Ziggy Zozzfozzelmm," Rosy said and Sam snorted at the nickname. "And I invited you because studying by myself is boring. I thought studying with you would motivate me, but you're boring too."
"Rude," Sam said, crossing his arms over his chest and Rosy rolled her eyes again.
"Come on, let's do something fun," Rosy said, bouncing on her knees and scooting closer to Sam who was looking at her with an amused smile on his face.
"We have to do work." Sam reminded her, pointing to the textbook and she sighed, continuing to scoot closer to him.
"We can do work after. Let's watch a movie." Rosy said, setting her hands on Sam's knees and he bit his lip as he looked from the textbook to Rosy.
"Rosy..." Sam said, dragging out her name.
"Sam..." Rosy said, mocking his whiny voice. When he still hesitated, she took his face between her hands and gently pushed it up so he was looking at her, missing the surprised look on his face. They had never been this close before. "If we watch a movie, just one movie, then I promise that we will spend the rest of the night studying," Rosy said, keeping her hands on his face so he would continue looking at her.
"You're a horrible influence," Sam said after a pause and Rosy grinned at him.
"Is that a yes?" Rosy asked and Sam sighed.
"Fine."
"Yay!" Rosy squealed before leaping off the couch to set the movie up.
"What are we watching?" Sam asked as he began to clear the mess of notebooks and highlighters on the couch.
"10 Things I Hate About You," Rosy said, sticking the DVD into the DVD player and grabbing the remote before going to sit next to Sam on the couch.
"Shouldn't I choose the movie since I'm the guest?" Sam asked as she grabbed a blanket from the armchair beside the couch.
"You're not a guest at this house anymore, you're here every day," Rosy said, rolling her eyes before throwing the blanket over herself.
"Do I not get a blanket?" Sam asked as Rosy began pressing buttons on the remote.
"We only have one blanket down here," Rosy said and Sam rolled his eyes before sighing and scooting closer to her until they were pressed up against each other. "What are you doing?" Rosy asked as Sam threw part of the blanket over his legs.
"I'm not going to let your lack of blankets or your personal little bubble or whatever keep me from enjoying the movie," Sam said and Rosy shook her head, before letting out a little shriek.
"Your feet are cold!" She said and he laughed before scooting closer to her and pulling her against him, laughing again when she let out another shriek.
"You're so dramatic, they're not that cold," Sam said as Rosy struggled to get out of his hold. She finally just gave up and sank against him and he raised his eyebrows at her.
"Shut up," Rosy said, moving a little to get more comfortable against him.
"I didn't say anything."
