Rosy Alvarez wasn't a very violent person. It wasn't in her nature to inflict harm on others, but she had found that there were some situations where it was entirely necessary. Including the situation where Jake Puckerman was sitting alone in the choir room when she walked in, surprisingly early for glee rehearsal. It was in a situation like that where she found violence completely necessary.

"What. The. Hell. Is. Wrong. With. You?" Rosy asked, smacking him repeatedly with a packet of sheet music she'd found on a chair on her way over to him, and Jake held up his arms to deflect the paper attacks.

"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you, psycho? You just came in here and started smacking me with paper," Jake said, nearly toppling off his chair in his attempt to get away from her, as she was still hitting him.

"You know what you did, asshole," Rosy said, gathering more sheet music to hit him with.

"No, I didn't. And stop hitting me!" He added as he finally stood from the chair and backed up so that she couldn't reach him.

"To Marley, dipshit," Rosy said and the look on Jake's face softened at the mention of her name as understanding dawned on him.

"Oh. That." Jake said, looking down.

"Yeah. That. What the hell is wrong with you? I know you hate everything, but I thought you liked Marley. She's sweet and she was nice to you when no one was. And now, what? You joined her glee club just to mess with her some more?" Rosy asked, and Jake held up his hands to defend himself.

"I-"

"And instead you're dating her? That evil, demonic, blonde witch? What do you see in her? Do you like that she's an asshole, like you? Is that what you guys bond over?" Rosy said, cutting him off as she started walking around the chair to get to him, but he darted out of her reach by circling to the other side.

"Kitty is...it's complicated, okay? You don't get it." Jake said and Rosy narrowed her eyes at him.

"Yeah, clearly. I thought it would be a good idea for you guys to get close, I thought it would be good for both of you, because despite what you might believe, Jake, I actually did want to help you, and not just because you're Puck's brother. But, I was wrong. You don't deserve my help, or Marley's." Rosy said, her tone cold, and Jake's face fell for a moment.

"I didn't mean to hurt her. She's...she's really nice." Jake said, his voice softening a bit, and Rosy fought to keep her frown from faltering.

"Yeah, I know. She's too nice for you. Do her a favor and stay away from her. The last thing she needs is you screwing up her life the way you've screwed up yours," Rosy said, just as Artie wheeled into the room, Tina close behind him. The two took in the scene in front of them, Rosy and Jake glaring at each other, Rosy with a wad of folded-up sheet music in her hand, Jake clutching the chair in between them.

"Is everything okay?" Artie asked hesitantly, and neither Jake nor Rosy said something for a moment.

"Everything's fine," Rosy said, breaking the silence first and turning to Artie and Tina with a smile, one that Artie returned and Tina did not.

Rosy finally turned away from Jake and moved to take a seat next to Artie in the first row. Once Jake was sure that she was a good arms-swinging distance away, he moved to take his seat again. He watched as Marley walked into the room, pointedly avoiding his gaze, before she went to take a seat on the other side of Rosy. The older brunette turned back to look at him and fixed him with one last glare, before turning to face the front again.

"So, tell me about stuff, we haven't spoken in weeks," Luke's voice sounded tinny and far away through Rosy's phone, but it also made her heart ache with its familiarity. It had seemed like forever since she'd heard his voice and she had missed it.
