"Hey, wake up," Blaine hissed at Rosy, elbowing her in the ribs and Rosy sat up in her seat in the auditorium.

"Is it over?" Rosy mumbled, blinking sleep from her eyes. Kurt had been practicing his audition for NYADA for Blaine and Rosy for the past hour and although she loved Kurt more than anything, she was finding it difficult to keep her eyes open.

"No," Blaine whispered and Rosy groaned quietly.

"Ugh, how much longer?" Rosy asked, leaning her head against his shoulder and shutting her eyes again, but he pushed her off.

"I don't know, but just be grateful you're not Tina," Blaine said, pointing up on stage where Kurt was dragging Tina around like a lifeless doll, and Rosy sighed. "Wasn't Rachel supposed to be here, by the way?" Blaine asked and Rosy shook her head.

"Rach is freaking out about her own audition, so Kurt let her skip and since Kurt got you and me, Rach got Finn." Rosy explained and she jumped when Blaine started clapping suddenly. "What are you doing?"

"He's done. Clap like your life depends on it." Blaine hissed out of the corner of his mouth and Rosy looked up to see that Kurt had finished and was bowing and she started clapping loudly too.

"Fantastic! I loved it." Blaine said, standing up and dragging Rosy up with him, but Kurt pulled off his mask with an unhappy look on his face.

"I don't know. My entire future is riding on this audition. It has to be perfect. What if I sequin my cape?" Kurt said, holding up his cape, and Rosy and Blaine exchanged a look. "Or if I sing it in German? Or if I do it in the nude?" Kurt suggested and Rosy snorted at the look on Blaine's face at the last suggestion.

"What?" Blaine said, a slight blush creeping up his neck, and Rosy bit back her smile.

"I'm serious. I've always been ahead of the curve, and my audition needs to show that. And right now it-it's too safe, it's too predictable, it's boring-I'm bored!" Kurt said, looking around the stage.

"I'm bored too," Rosy muttered and Blaine elbowed her in the ribs again.

"I think you're overthinking it," Blaine said, leaning against the barrier.

"Excuse me, my foot fell asleep. I can't feel it at all. Can I go walk it off?" Tina asked, raising her hand.

"Yeah, sure, just don't go too far. And thanks" Kurt said, waving his hand, and Tina walked away while Rosy dreamed that she could take her with her.

"Okay," Kurt said, turning back to Rosy and Blaine. "I'm starting from scratch. I need something fresh. I need something edgy, something completely unpredictable...or maybe I just need more candles."

"Oh, god, no. No more candles." Blaine said quietly and Rosy nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure this many candles alone is a fire hazard." Rosy pointed out and Kurt groaned before walking into the wings to find Tina so they could perform the number again.

"He wasn't working out with you guys after school today?"

"No, was he with you?" Finn's voice was on speaker on Rosy's phone as she drove.

"No," Rosy said, referring to Puck who seemed to have disappeared.

"He's completely dipped on school, I haven't seen him since his performance in the choir room," Finn said and Rosy thought back to Puck's performance of 'School's Out' and how he'd walked out afterward.

"I know, I thought he was just taking a few days, but now he's given up on video games? Something's wrong." Rosy said, gripping the steering wheel tightly as she made a left turn.
