"Please, Rosy."

"No."

"All you have to do is pose for the picture with me."

"No."

"Why not?"

It was picture week at Mckinley, and the glee club could only afford a quarter-page, which was only enough room for two members, so Mr. Schue had proposed that they pick two co-captains to represent the New Directions in the Thunderclap, the yearbook, this year. After a secret glee meeting, that neither Mr. Schue nor Rachel had been invited to, where Kurt had convinced them all that they shouldn't want to be in the Thunderclap since it will only cause constant bullying, everyone had voted for Rachel as the captain since she was the only one who actually wanted to be featured. Since they needed another captain, Rachel had been pestering all the New Directions to be in the photo with her, and she had finally caught up with Rosy.

"Because it doesn't make sense for me to be a co-captain, Rach. I'm a freshman and I'm not one of the lead singers, I'm just a background vocalist, it will confuse people reading the yearbook." Rosy said, finally turning around to face Rachel. Even though everything she had said was true, none of it was the real reason why Rosy didn't want to be a co-captain. The real reason was because, even though it couldn't possibly be true, Kurt's theories about the Thunderclap had really freaked her out.

"Please, Rosy, I really need you for this. You're my closest friend and I know that you care about glee club." Rachel pleaded and Rosy sighed.

"Look, I won't be in the picture with you, but how about I help you convince Finn to be the other co-captain. Think about it, it's perfect. You two are the leads in the majority of our songs and you guys will be main vocals at sectionals, it just makes sense. Also, you two are born leaders, it's like in your blood or something. The rest of us just follow you two most of the time." Rosy admitted, shrugging, and Rachel was quiet for a minute.

"Fine." She said finally and Rosy grinned before linking their arms together as they went to search for Finn.

"I'm desperate. Glee Club needs you, Finn." Rachel was saying as she and Rosy trailed after the tall Quarterback.

"I'm totally honored you asked me, but don't you think you should pick somebody who, like, cares more? Not that I don't, but I just have football and friends and stuff." Finn said, not turning around to look at them, and Rosy rolled her eyes. Finn's 'friends', aside from the ones in glee club, didn't seem like they were the nicest. In fact, Rosy hated most of them with every bone in her body, especially the ones who continued to harass Kurt, which everyone but her continued not to notice.

"Glee Club only started working after you joined. Face it, we didn't have all of the cheerleaders and football players in the club if it wasn't for you." Rachel said, elbowing Rosy in the ribs until she nodded along.

"You know I love Glee Club, I just don't know why I have to represent it," Finn said and Rachel reached forward and grabbed Finn's jacket, pulling him around to face her. Rosy shifted from foot to foot uncomfortably as they stared at each other intensely, feeling like a total third wheel.

"Because you're a leader, Finn. And that's what leaders do. They stick their necks out for people that they care about." Rachel said as she and Finn continued to stare at each other and Rosy was tempted to say 'get a room', but she didn't want to interrupt Rachel's whole inspirational speech thing. "There are stakes here. Morale is low, you know it. If things don't change, we're not even going to place at Sectionals and then the club is over. I can't do this alone." There was silence for a second and Rosy played with her hair as she waited for Finn's answer.
