"Okay losers, it's Secret Santa time!" Rosy said, walking into the choir room, a ratty santa hat in hand, and everyone cheered as she held it up. It had been her idea to hold a secret santa this year in glee club to lift everyone's spirits since they had all been a little down lately.
"Okay, who's going first?" Rosy asked, getting right down to business, and Britt's hand shot up, a large excited smile on the blonde's face. "Okay, Britt, come on up." Rosy said and Brittany beamed before hurrying over to Rosy and Rosy smiled at her as she dug her hand into the hat, feeling around the slips of paper.
"Remember guys, there's no swapping people, there's no telling anybody who you got, and there will be no tantrums if you get someone you didn't want. None of us are four, we're all mature." Rosy said, shooting Rachel a pointed look. The two hadn't spoken since Finn had told Rosy what Rachel had done last week, even though Rachel had tried to go up to her and apologize, Rosy wasn't hearing it. Brittany's excited squeal made Rosy turn her attention back to the blonde and she laughed as Brittany stuck the small paper in her pocket before bouncing back to her seat.
"Alright, who's next?"
Everyone else came up and took their turns until there was only Rosy left and she took the last slip of paper out of the hat, smiling excitedly as she opened it but her smile quickly disappeared when she saw the name on the paper. MIKE. She was just always picking his name out of hats, wasn't she? It wasn't that she didn't like Mike, she did. Not like like him anymore, but her feelings had dulled down and now she finally saw him as just a friend. But the two weren't very close and she didn't have the faintest idea of what to get him. Who's stupid idea had it been to hold a secret santa anyway?

Rosy and Sam were sitting on her couch, surrounded by textbooks and notebooks and a rainbow of highlighters, studying for their biology quiz next week and Rosy was doodling on the cover of her notebook not really paying attention to Sam, who was trying to quiz her with the flashcards they had made.
"Rosy!" Sam said making Rosy jump and drop her pen.
"What? I'm here, I'm listening." Rosy said and Sam gave her a look.
"Why'd you ask me to study with you if you weren't gonna pay attention?" Sam asked, setting the flashcards down.
"I'm sorry, I've just got a lot on my mind." Rosy said, crossing her legs and resting her chin on her hand.
"Like what?" Sam asked, pushing the notebook off his lap and scooting closer to her.
"Like I have no idea what to get for my secret santa person." Rosy said, balancing a highlighter on the textbook in front of her.
"Who do you have?" Sam asked and Rosy looked up at him in shock.
"I'm not telling you, it's secret santa, we're not supposed to tell anyone, remember?" Rosy said and Sam rolled his eyes.
"Do you honestly believe that anyone is keeping their people a secret?" Sam said and Rosy paused for a second before sighing.
"No."
"Exactly, so tell me who you have, I can help you out." Sam said and Rosy sighed again.
"Fine. I got Mike." Rosy said and Sam paused for a second, chewing on his bottom lip as he thought.
"Hmm, okay, well he asked Santa for Channing Tatum to stop being in stuff, so how about trying that?" Sam teased and Rosy rolled her eyes, tossing a pillow at him, which he dodged easily, laughing.
"Oh sure, I'll just call Channing up and say 'hey, I need you to stop doing your job because my friend wants you to, thanks. Oh and Merry Christmas!'" Rosy said sarcastically and Sam nodded.
