Chapter 24: In One Roof

Sol's:

Hay na'ko! 'di parin talaga ako maka- move on du'n sa pagge- guest namin kay Mr. Norton. But I really can't deny it, that I actually had fun. And that interview? Nag- trending s'ya worldwide. Oh my! Grabe! Parang kami talaga ang sentro ng balitaan sa showbiz sa iba't ibang bansa ngayon, here in Ireland and even in UK! Oh my! Nako! Malamang, alam na ng pamilya ko back there in the Philippines ang lahat- lahat.

I'm here in my house, still on my bed and lying. Ang lamig kasi sa labas eh. Umuulan- ulan. Ahww! Ayoko nang bumangon!

'Knock, Knock'

Sh*t! Sino ba kasi yung nasa labas ng pinto ko? Takte naman oh!

So, bumaba agad ako ng padabog na para ba'ng batang inuutusan ng magulang. Sh*t! Tinatamad p 'ko e. Then, I opened the door and saw this tall guy who's now laughing a bit. 'Di ko masyadong maaninag e, inaantok pa kasi ako nu'n. Wait.. M-Mark?

Me: M-Mark? Why are you here?

Then, I saw him laughed at me. At ako naman, pinout ko yung lips ko. Ewan ko ba kung bakit hindi ko mapigilan yung mag-pout ng lips whenever I'm annoyed or pissed.

Mark: Hey, Sol! Wake up, sleepy head!

Me: Hey! I'm already awake!

After that, he pulled me closer his body and embraced me. He kissed me on my forehead and on my lips. But I actually like him doing it to me. He's so sweet. I'm so happy that I have him. Someone who's just like him.

Me: Good morning, Baby! (I hugged him back)

Mark: Good morning, too Baby Sol! (hinigpitan n'ya pa yung yakap niya)

Naman oh! Kinikilig pa rin ako sa t'wing ginagawa n'ya yun!

Mark: Oh, I came here to fetch you up. But it seems like you don't want to go to work, do you?

Eh, pailing- iling pa 'ko pero sinabi ko rin ang totoo. Tinatamad kasi talaga ako eh.

Me: Y-Yeah.

He held my both cheeks that made it even pink, ewan ko ba! Kahit na isang linggo na rin kami'ng mag- boyfriend, girlfriend e, kinikilig pa rin ako.

Mark: Babe, we have to go to work now. You know, for our future? I'd like to go to work with you by my side. I'm more inspired when you are there. Knowing that you're just there.

Oh! Bakit ba ang sexy pakinggan nung husky-ng voice n'ya?

Me: (I smiled at him) Ok, fine. I will go to work with you. Happy now?

He smiled at me. That lovely smile that I would never ever forget.

So, pumunta ako ng kwarto ko at nagbihis na para pumasok. Naku! Kung 'di lang dahil dito sa gwapong nilalang sa bahay ko! Lumabas na ako after ng mga.. 30 minutes and he held my hand at sabay na kami lumabas ng bahay. Buti nga't hindi ako pala- labas eh! Isang kapit- bahay ko lang yung nakakaalam na I'm Sol. Mark's girlfriend. He's Mr. Robert, he's friendly and nice. Nasa mid. 40 na s'ya.

Mark's:

We're sitting now in two of the chairs here in cafeteria. We're eating burger and drinking soda. I don't know, but she's not that conscious when it comes to her weight and size. Maybe because she doesn't even gain fat that much.

I'm just wondering, while I'm looking at her while she's eating her food and drinking her soda. Does she wants to be with me.. for lifetime? I mean, for good? 'Cos I'm actually ready now to have a family and have someone in my life that I can be with together in one house, in one home. My kids will call her 'Mom'. And that girl, I want it to be her. She's my everything.

Me: Ehm, Sol?

Sol: What is it, Baby?

She stopped biting her burger and looked at me.

Me: Ehm.. I'm just wondering.. D-D-Do you like to..

Sol: Do I like to, what?

Me: I'm just wondering if you're sure with me now.

Sol: Sure with you? How?

Me: If you're sure that I'm the one you want to be with for the rest of your life.

I started being so nervous, my whole body's shaking.

Me: You know, I'm sure now that you're the girl I want to be with. I love you.

She laughed a bit and runs her thumb over my cheek.

Sol: Ofcourse, you're the only one I wanna be with. You're the one that I love. And wait, why did you ask me that kind of question?

Me: Ehm, I just want to know if you really want it. That's all. (I said confidently)

But she looked at me in 'what-is-it,-really?' look.

Me: Ok, I'm just.. I just.. want to know if you would like to..

Sol: To?

Me: To be with me now. To be with me now in one house. You know, even if we're not married yet, we could secure each other. We will have much time for each other. Actually, I'm ready now to have my own family. And the mother of my children, I want it to be you. I want to see us together in one roof.

Suddenly, a very sweet smile crossed her lips. I hope she'll say that she liked it too!

'Ring, Ring'

Ugh! Sucks! Who's that person!? Wrong timing!
