The morning light filtered softly through the curtains, casting a gentle glow across the room.

The city outside was quiet for once, as if the world itself was giving them time to rest.

Rohit stirred first, a slow breath leaving his lips as he blinked awake.

His body was deliciously sore in the best way, a reminder of the night before.

A soft hum escaped him as he stretched a little, feeling the warmth at his side.

Virat.

He was still asleep, for once completely at peace.

His dark hair was messy, falling onto his forehead, lips slightly parted.

One arm was tucked under the pillow, the other draped possessively around Rohit's waist, holding him close.

Their legs were tangled together under the sheets.

Rohit smiled softly, lifting his fingers to brush Virat's hair back gently, tracing the sharp line of his jaw.

"You don't sleep enough," he whispered quietly, leaning in to press a kiss to Virat's temple. He knew Virat was awake.

Virat's brows furrowed faintly at the contact, but then he sighed deeply and nuzzled closer, burying his face into Rohit's neck without opening his eyes.

"Five more minutes..." Virat mumbled, his voice raspy and deep from sleep.

Rohit chuckled, a soft, loving sound.

"You said that an hour ago," he teased.

"Then another hour," Virat muttered, tightening his hold, as if daring Rohit to move.

They stayed like that for a while, Rohit gently running his fingers through Virat's hair, content in the warmth of his arms.

After a few minutes, Virat's hand slid up under blanket, splaying wide over Rohit's bare skin, possessive even in sleep.

"Mine," Virat murmured sleepily.

Rohit rolled his eyes fondly, but his heart swelled at the word. "Yours," he whispered back.

Eventually, Virat blinked his eyes open, still heavy with sleep but clearer now.

He stared at Rohit for a long moment, like he was memorizing him.

Then he leaned in slowly and kissed him, soft and lazy, just lips moving against lips.

"Morning baby," Virat murmured after a while, resting his forehead against Rohit's.

"Morning love," Rohit replied softly, wrapping his arms around Virat's shoulders.

Virats eyes opened in surprise as Rohit smiled, "Oh love huh?", teased Virat and kissed his blushing cheeks.

They stayed like that for a little longer before Virat finally groaned, stretching his back as he sat up halfway.

"I'll make coffee," he offered, leaning down to steal one more kiss before sliding out of bed, slipping on his sweats.

Rohit watched him go, eyes following every lazy movement as Virat padded barefoot without a shirt into the kitchen, he looks so hot was all Rohit could think of.

A few minutes later, Virat came back with two mugs, setting one on Rohit's nightstand and sitting cross-legged beside him on the bed.

"Drink," Virat said, nudging Rohit's shoulder playfully. "You'll need it after last night."
