Two days later, life had cautiously returned to normal.

Everyone was back at the office, though they still hovered around Virat more than he liked to admit.

He'd already threatened Aman once for shadowing him to his own cabin—but the kid just grinned and followed him anyway.

That night, Virat was stuck in a late meeting with Rahul Bhai, going over strategies and some important reports.

The rest of them—Rohit, Aman, and Jassi—had migrated to Virat's cabin to wait for him, lounging around like they owned the place.

Aman was sprawled across Virat's chair, legs kicked up on the table, while Jassi scrolled through his phone on the couch.

Rohit sat quietly on the opposite side, sipping water and pretending to read something, but his eyes kept drifting to the closed door of the conference room.

It was Aman who broke the silence first.

"Have you thought about saying 'I love you' to Bhai?"

Rohit choked on his water, coughing violently as Jassi gave Aman an exasperated look.

"Aman..." Jassi warned, but there was no real heat in his tone. He was used to Aman's bluntness by now.

"What?!" Aman raised his hands in mock innocence. "I'm just saying what everyone's thinking."

Rohit wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, glaring half-heartedly at Aman.

"You can't just—bring that up out of nowhere," Rohit muttered, still trying to catch his breath.

Aman shrugged with a casualness that could only come from years of being the brat of the family.

"Why not? It's not like it's a secret. Everyone knows you love him."

Rohit opened his mouth to argue, but Aman cut him off smoothly.

"And don't even think about denying it. You're sitting in his cabin after hours, waiting for him to finish work you have nothing to do with." Jassi chuckled quietly at that, and Rohit sighed, leaning back in his chair, rubbing his face.

"You think he...?" Rohit's voice was quiet, uncertain.

Aman tilted his head, expression softening just a little.

"Bhai's an idiot in these things," Aman said matter-of-factly.

"He'll never say it first. Not because he doesn't feel it. He's just... clueless when it comes to himself."

He smiled faintly. "You've seen how he is with me. He can read me like a book. But when it's about himself? Feelings? Forget it. Total disaster."

Jassi finally put his phone away, looking between the two of them, "He does love you," Jassi said quietly. "You're his peace, Rohit bhai. We've all seen it."

Rohit sat there, processing their words. The weight of it.

The truth in it.

His fingers absentmindedly traced the rim of his glass as he stared at nothing in particular.

Aman nudged his knee under the table, breaking his train of thought.

"Just tell him," Aman said, a teasing glint returning to his eyes. "Save us all the drama."

Rohit shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips. "You're something else," he muttered.

Aman leaned back in the chair smugly, "Yeah, I know."
