Virat started driving back to his apartment after collecting Rohit's stuff.

It had been about fifteen minutes when he noticed Rohit dozing off in the passenger seat. Smiling to himself, he slowly pulled the car over to the side of the road.

Carefully, he adjusted Rohit's head so it rested comfortably against the seat and made sure his seatbelt was secure.

Then, taking off his jacket, Virat draped it over him. Rohit instinctively snuggled into the warmth, settling into a deeper sleep.

Virat's smile softened as he watched him for a moment.

He leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to Rohit's forehead before starting the car again and resuming the drive to his apartment.

Virat reached his apartment and quietly parked the car.

Moving carefully, he got out and slowly picked Rohit up in his arms.

Rohit instinctively snuggled closer to his chest, letting out a soft sigh that made Virat smile.

Balancing Rohit against him, Virat managed to unlock the door.

The apartment was quiet, and he guessed Aman and Jassi were already asleep.

He stepped inside silently, closing the door behind him with his foot.

Carrying Rohit to his room, Virat gently laid him down on the bed.

He adjusted the pillows, making sure Rohit was comfortable, then pulled the comforter over him.

Rohit shifted slightly, curling into the warmth, his face peaceful in sleep.

After making sure Rohit was comfortable, Virat headed to the bathroom for a quick shower.

The warm water helped clear his mind, and once he was done, he changed into a fresh t-shirt and joggers.

There was still work waiting for him.

A new project had just landed on his plate, and he needed to take charge of it.

Settling at his desk with his laptop, Virat began working on the presentation.

There were a few follow-up calls from the office, and even Rahul bhai checked in to discuss some updates.

Virat handled it all, completely engrossed in work for the next hour.

After a while, Virat set his work aside and quietly made his way to his room to check on Rohit.

He found him still fast asleep, his breathing slow and even.

The sight made Virat's chest feel warm in a way he couldn't quite put into words.

Moving softly around the room, he started arranging Rohit's clothes in the wardrobe—the few things he had brought over.

As he folded and placed them neatly on the shelves, he couldn't help but smile.

It felt... right.

Like Rohit was slowly making a home with him.

Once he was done, Virat sat down on the edge of the bed. His fingers brushed gently over Rohit's cheek, his touch featherlight.

Rohit stirred at the contact, eyes fluttering open just a little.

"Ro... wake up," Virat said softly, his thumb still caressing Rohit's skin. "It's lunch time."

Rohit slowly opened his eyes, blinking against the soft light filtering into the room.

The first thing he saw was Virat sitting beside him, a gentle smile playing on his lips, his eyes warm with affection.
