The soft glow of the evening lights filled their bedroom as they got ready for the party.
Rohit stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the cuffs of his shirt while Virat walked up behind him, holding the tie in his hands with a little smirk playing on his lips.
"Here," Virat said, stepping close and looping the tie around Rohit's neck. "Let me do it."
Rohit nodded, a soft smile tugging at his lips, letting Virat work.
But Virat's fingers weren't in much of a hurry.
As he slowly tightened the knot, his knuckles brushed deliberately against Rohit's collarbones. His eyes twinkled with mischief.
"You're doing it on purpose," Rohit mumbled, already feeling the goosebumps rise.
"Doing what?" Virat asked innocently, tugging the tie into place.
Then, without warning, he dipped his head and pressed a kiss to the side of Rohit's neck.
Rohit sucked in a breath, his hands gripping the dresser lightly. "Virat," he warned, cheeks turning pink, "we'll get late—"
"We won't," Virat murmured against his skin, dropping another kiss, this one just below his jaw. "We still have time."
"Virat," Rohit said again, trying to sound stern, but his voice came out breathy. "You're impossible."
"And you love it," Virat whispered with a grin, pressing one last kiss to his neck before finally finishing the tie properly and straightening Rohit's blazer.
Rohit glared half-heartedly at him through the mirror, but his lips curved into a shy smile.
Virat caught that reflection, leaned in, and kissed his cheek gently.
"There," Virat said softly, wrapping his arms around Rohit from behind, their eyes meeting in the mirror. "Now we're ready to go."
And with Rohit still a little flustered, his hand finding Virat's as they walked out, they left for the party.
Rohit sat beside Virat in the backseat of the car, fingers gently brushing the fabric of his own sleeves, but his eyes weren't on them.
They were on Virat.
God. That designer suit was doing sinful things to him.
Midnight black, perfectly tailored, crisp white shirt beneath with just the right amount of buttons open—and the confident ease with which Virat carried it all made Rohit's stomach flip.
His hair was set just right, beard, jaw freshly groomed, and that smirk he always wore when he knew Rohit was staring?
Deadly.
Virat turned his head slightly, catching Rohit in the act.
He smirked knowingly, leaning back with one arm slung over the seat.
His other hand slowly reached over and rested gently on Rohit's thigh.
"Like what you see?" he teased, voice low, eyes playful. "It's all yours."
Rohit looked down quickly, cheeks flaming, lips twitching into a soft smile.
He tried to compose himself, but his heart was already racing.
The car rolled to a stop at a quiet corner near the venue.
Before the driver could open the door, Rohit leaned in—slow, hesitant, his warm breath brushing against Virat's cheek.
