Chapter 6 - The Newbie Encounter

A week passed at natapos ko din ang lahat ng exams na dapat kong kunin para makapasok bilang incoming 4th year sa Westfall. Psh, nakakatamad 'din kayang magbasa maghapon, kaya nga medyo ang baba ng final GPA result na nakuha ko towards the course eh.

[Flashback: Jana and Yvonne's Conversation over a video call]

"Are you seriously new to this?! Gahd. Halos ma-perfect mo na ang exams!" Jana exclaimed.

"Oh come on Janz, I thought you know about my photographic memory. Hindi malabong hindi 'yan mangyari" I weakly answered.

"Oo nga naman, buti at hindi mo naman pinerfect. Nakaka-hiya naman ang 1.25 para sa'yo, haha!" she said.

"Tinamad na 'din kasi ako intindihin yung iba, alam mo namang hindi ko talaga forte yan" I replied.

"Yeah, whatever Von" she said and rolled her eyes on me, napa-ngisi naman ako sa ginawa niya. Isa na rin siguro sa dahilan kung bakit kami nagkaka-sundo ay dahil pareho kami magtaray. Kung alam niyo lang kung pa'no niya tina-taray-tarayan noon ang fiancé niya ngayun, Haha! Epic.

"I'll tell Micah to hand you your school credentials once it is done, ang kailangan mo na lang ay mag-enrol. Ikaw na ang bahala sa pag-a-alter ng personal infos mo, iyan ang forte mo" she said with full of sarcasm.

"Yes Ma'am! Oh, and Janz..." I said.

"Hmm?"

"Thanks again" then she nodded at me with a smile before we ended the video call.

[End of Flashback]

"Hey Rose, everyone's waiting for you"

Oh damn! And before I forgot, since 'my week' is already passed, Kyle is finally here and he's staying on the same building as mine. As in, he literally bought a condo on the same building where my penthouse is.

"Now explain" - Jane, over a video call

And now, I'm busted. Well, not literally... let's just say, they're not happy that they know that I have plans that I don't want to share with them.

"Rose-y... we're waiting" - Vince, over a video call, too

And now, they are expecting me to explain everything over a video call. Pero, hindi naman ako sasabak ng gyera kung wala akong dalang armas hindi ba? Not me.

"You guys can come over here now, together" I said.

"What?!" they exclaimed, aside for Daphney, for sure.

"Come on Rose, I know there is something you're not telling us" says Kyle that's just right beside me.

I smirked, and that made my gangmates furrowed their brows, "I'll tell you, I promise. But first, you guys" I said while pointing to the laptop's camera, "get the earliest flight, the soonest the better"

"And oh! Don't forget to practice our native tongue, baka matalo pa kayo ni Daphney sa pagta-tagalog" I joked.

"Wait-What?! Daphney know how to speak in Tagalog?" Vince exclaimed, oh, and Kyle too... kaya medyo nagulantang ang eardrums ko.

"Oh bha-kieht, nahgu-laht ke-yoh? Maru-nohng nah-men ah-ko ma-tagal nah" Daphey said, na medyo ikina-ngiti ko dahil sa slang niya habang nagta-Tagalog.

"Don't you remember? I taught her when we were bored while on training at Greece? Tsk!" Jane reacted.

"Looks like these two seriously, need your tutoring skills Jane... 'coz I won't tell you my plan unless you can talk Tagalog fluently" I said.
