“Aww... I was really hoping to fight with those boombastic Neon Ladies” – Vince

Tila nangasim ang mukha ng apat sa tinuran ni Vince, “Those colorful sluts”, hindi na napilitang magkomento ni Jane bago bumalik sa panunuod ng telebisyon.

“Say what, Rose... Are you—” – Kyle

“I won’t be able to fight with you on Semi-Finals”, diretchong sambit ni Yvonne, na kumuha ng atensyon ng lahat.

“But –” – Jane

“Don’t worry, I’ll do my best to join the party in the final round”, Yvonne finally added.

Mataman siyang tinitigan ng apat, pero matibay ang paninindigan ni Yvonne na harapin sila, “Are you hiding something from us?” mariing tanong ni Kyle habang hindi inaalis ang pagkakatitig sa biglang lamig na tingin ni Yvonne.

“Being an empress isn’t an easy task, Kyle... And maybe, just maybe, I don’t want to make biased decisions just because I am included to a gang, specifically to a top ranked gang”, Yvonne fiercely answered, before she walked away.

“R-rose”, tanging naibulong ng tatlong tila nanigas sa gulat, habang maagap na sinundan ni Daphney si Yvonne palabas.

Hindi napigilan ni Yvonne ang pagngisi ng makalabas ito sa kaninang tinatambayan ng buong Flaming Five, which is Kyle’s condo. Pasakay na sana siya ng kanyang personal elevator papuntang penthouse, nang abutan siya ni Daphney at tinawag it, “Ms. Von!”

Nakangiti naming sinalubong ni Yvonne ang papalapit na si Daphney, “Sup, Daph?”

Seryosong hinarap ni Daphney si Yvonne at nagtanong, “Why?”

“Why what?” – Yvonne

“Why did you hack my files, Ms. Von? I know you’re the only capable person that can shut all my security barriers just like that” – Daphney

Lalong lumawak ang ngisi sa labi ni Yvonne dahil sa sinabi nitong katotohanan. Alam niyang malalaman at malalaman ni Daphney ang pangingielam ni Yvonne sa ilang private files nito by hacking her highly secured system, and guess what... sinadya niya talaga ito.

“And this proves that you’re really keeping something from us, from me? You are my superior, and it’s my job to protect you, Ms. Von. How come you haven’t told me anything about what’s happening? What if—”

Napabuntong-hininga naman si Yvonne bago marahang hinaklit ang isang kamay ni Daphney, “No need to worry, Daph. Everything’s fine... I just need some information from my previous missions and that’s all. I didn’t touch any other files except from that... I promise...” sinserong sambit nito.

“But—”

“Don’t worry about me, Daph. You know I won’t call for help, when I don’t need one. Just...” biglang sumeryoso ang mukha ni Yvonne at diretchong tumingin sa mga mata ni Daphney, “Just don’t mention this to them. I still need to investigate and confirm things before I can tell you the details. There is something fishy goin’ on, and I need to act fast”, dagdag ni Yvonne.

Alam ni Daphney na wala na siyang magagawa kundi ang magtiwala sa mga sinabi ni Yvonne, kaya naman napabuga na lang ito ng hininga bago pasukong tumango sa dalaga, “Alright. Just promise me that you’ll inform me when you need help, Ms Von. I’ll always fight by your side, My Queen”, luluhod pa sana si Daphney nang pigilan ito ng biglaang pagyakap ni Yvonne, “I already told you not to kneel for me, Daph. You are my comrade, not my slave”, kinalas ni Yvonne ang pagkakayakap nito kay Daphney at sinabing, “I respect all of you who always keep me and my dad protected. You are all family to me, Daph”
