Cheating

Marjorie felt like she had been asleep for all of five minutes before she was then slowly shaken awake.
"Marjorie, come on. Wake up," Reece's voice cut through her sleep daze.
"Reecey, no please," she mumbled, cuddling into his body. "You're warm."
"Marjorie, get off me," he pushes his wife off him, climbing out of their shared bed.
"Reece?" She sits up now, more awake than before.
"Marjorie, I'm- I just can't right now," he rolls his eyes, walking out the bedroom.

Marjorie watched as her husband walked out of their bedroom. She felt like there was something stabbing her in the chest.
She had her suspicions that he was cheating on her, with Geraldine. This felt like confirmation for her. She hated the way it settled in her chest, she felt uneasy.

She fell back onto the bed, pulling the covers up to reach her shoulders. She turned to the side and let tears roll down her face as she thought of the fact she would have to divorce Reece. They hadn't even been married one year. She missed him, he wasn't himself recently. She missed him so much.
She cried so much she ended up falling back asleep. She was so tried. She just wanted her husband.

When she woke up, she felt warmth surrounding her, a weight draped over her waist.
She slowly woke up, and as she looked behind her she saw familiar blonde hair. She lifted his hand, seeing the matching wedding band, bringing a sense of relief to her.
She slowly turned in his arms, trying not to wake him. She saw the look of peace that was settled over his face, a soft smile.

"Reece," she whispered. He didn't respond, or even stir. She lent down, kissing his cheek. Still nothing. She kept kissing all over his face, finally landing on his lips, before he finally started to wake up.
"Gorgeous?" He grumbled.
"Hi."
"Hello," he replies, smiling at her.
"I've missed you," she whispers, king his lips again.
"I've missed you too. I'm so sorry for earlier. I didn't mean to make you cry."
"Reece, can I ask you an honest question?"
"Of course dear."

"Are you cheating on me... with Geraldine?" She sighs, she didn't want to ask it, but she had to.
"What? No! Why would you think that?" He almost laughs at how ridiculous it sounds.
"Geraldine was texting someone called 'R.K.' Your initials. You have been extremely suspicious, and I can't help but think it," Marjorie explained, it felt silly to say but it was what she felt.
"Marjorie," he whispered. "I would never cheat on you at all. Especially not with Geraldine. They may be my initials but they aren't me. I love you, I would never cheat. I have only been suspicious trying to plan a honeymoon, yes a bit late, but still. I don't have everything worked out yet, but hopefully some time in November, maybe New York. I love you gorgeous, I really do," Reece explains, and Marjorie stares at him in shock.

"What?"
"I'm sorry baby, but I was never cheating."
"I'm sorry to think you would. I should've known better. I'm really sorry, I love you."
"I love you too."
The couple share a kiss, both of them relaxing into each other. They had missed this.

Right, I want to start off by apologising for how short this is. I'm really sorry. I've been struggling with writing this at the moment but I wanted to get something out for you guys. I did try to write more, but physically couldn't get any more idea for it.

Secondly, I would like to thank you all. This is my 80th chapter, which sounds insane enough as it is. I could not thank you all enough for the love you show on this book. It makes me feel so happy that people take the time to read my writing, and have helped me to improve my writing. I cannot tell you how much I love it, but I tried to.
