Author's POV

At this time, only Adhrit and Anaisha were present in that cabin, and both of them were looking at each other.

While Adhrit's face had turned pale, Anaisha had a devilish smile plastered on her lips — playful, yet undeniably confident, a mix that made his heart skip beats despite his attempts to stay composed.

He took a deep breath, and asked in his shaky voice, "Why did you ask him to go outside?"

Hearing this question, she kept quiet, but her smile deepened. There was a glint in her eyes, teasing him silently, enjoying his confusion, savoring the power she now held in this intimate, closed space.

"No need to reply... I am going...", he exhaled a sharp breath and turned to leave, but her voice made him freeze at his place, and his steps automatically came to a halt.

"No my Love... You can't leave from here, until and unless, I myself want it... You came here on your own will, but you will go away from here, only and only on my wish."

He gulped down his saliva, due to the newly building anxiety within him. His pulse raced, and a sudden awareness of her closeness made his stomach twist nervously.

She smirked and got up from her chair, her movement fluid and commanding, each step deliberate, drawing him into a vortex of tension he hadn't anticipated.

Although currently his back was facing her, he could sense the intensity of her gaze, and he could almost feel her eyes on him like a magnetic pull.

She went closer to him, and stood right in front of him — her intense gaze meeting his nervous ones.

He was looking into her eyes, just when he noticed the sudden shift in them. There was something fierce in them now — more intense, focused, and predatory. The kind of look, that demanded attention, respect, and compliance, and yet carried a thrill, he couldn't ignore.

Before he could speak, she grabbed him by his tie, and pulled him closer to herself — her movements smooth and confident, yet deliberate enough to make him aware, that she was in complete control.

"You didn't tell me you joined here..." she said, voice low and controlled, as her one hand reached his chest, slowly caressing it over the fabric of his shirt. The warmth of her touch contrasted with the chill of the cabin air, sending shivers down his spine.

"I–I w–wanted to sur–surprise y–you..." he almost stuttered, slightly breathless, taken aback by the sudden proximity — and her assertive grip on his tie.

"Oh, you've definitely surprised me... My Love..." she whispered seductively, with a small smirk, tugging him closer, until their bodies were barely an inch apart.

Her hand moved to his collarbone, tracing lightly, almost teasing, while her eyes held his hostage, igniting a rush of emotions he wasn't prepared to confront.

"What are you doing?" he whispered slowly, his voice barely audible. "This is your office, and you are my boss here... You can't behave like this with me here..."

Her smirk grew wider, and she leaned more onto him. "That's the point, my Love... Here, I am your boss, and you can't defy my orders. So, be a good employee, and just do as I command..."

Her tone was seductive, yet filled with a challenge — teasing, an order, which made his breath hitch involuntarily.

"And what if I say... No..." he whispered in a challenging way, eyes fixed on hers — maintaining a proper, intense eye contact between them.

The devilish smile adorning her lips grew wider.

The very next moment, with a swift motion, she flipped him over and pushed him against the wall, making him go totally shocked.
