Author’s POV
£ Next Morning
Yesterday had passed in a blink.
Though no words were exchanged, a thousand moments were silently shared between Adhrit and Anaisha — moments that spoke of things, they still couldn’t confess aloud.
Their silence screamed louder than their words ever could.
The raw, unfiltered emotions in their eyes said everything, that their lips were still hesitant to admit.
Through taunts, mockery, and sometimes even anger, Adhrit's care and feelings for Anaisha were evident to everyone in the family.
And Anaisha — she was never one to hide her heart. Her feelings for him were displayed openly, for the world to see her unshaken claim over him.
When he gave her that bracelet yesterday, she was beyond happy.
It wasn't just a gift — it was the first time he had given her something out of his own will.
That single gesture had touched her heart deeply.
For the first time, she had felt his love through his actions — quiet, restrained, yet sincere.
Although he tried his best to cover it up under the excuse of tradition, the emotions flickering in his eyes had betrayed him completely.
The entire day had gone by with her stealing glances at the bracelet again and again — her first gift from him, her first tangible memory of love.
A small token, but one, that she knew she would cherish for a lifetime.
That morning, she was in the kitchen along with Mamta and Ruchi, insisting that, they teach her how to cook.
It wasn't that she was trying to change herself — it was simply that, she wanted to do something special for him.
She knew that, if she tried to buy him an expensive gift, he'd never accept it.
So, she decided to pour her love and emotions into something as simple and pure as food.
After all, she knew him well — he was a foodie, and nothing could touch his heart more than a plate cooked with care and warmth.
When the breakfast was finally ready, Anaisha, with Ruchi's help, brought it to the dining table.
Everyone gathered together, chatting lightly as they began their meal.
Anaisha sat beside Adhrit, like she had done yesterday, her gaze flickering toward him every few seconds — silently admiring the man she loved.
Adhrit, of course, pretended not to notice, but every time she looked at him, his heart skipped a beat — a fact he wasn't ready to accept even to himself.
Once breakfast was over, everyone began leaving for their respective routines.
Namish had to go to college, and Arjun had to leave for the office, so Ruchi handed them their lunchboxes.
Adhrit, too, had a few interviews lined up for the day — ones he had applied for last night — so he left along with his father and brother.
Anaisha watched him leave — a faint smile lingering on her lips — before turning back to help Mamta clear the table.

Pranay and Barkha were seated with Niharika, discussing her flight schedule, since she had to leave that afternoon.
Across the room, Jeet was talking to Naveen about their project.
Their work was almost completed, and since Naveen's presence was no longer needed, he too was leaving with Niharika.
