Chap 36 - The Hypnotizing Voice

Adhrit's POV

I finished doing my breakfast, and without even waiting for anybody else, I got up from the chair.

The whole time during the breakfast, I could feel the suprising gaze of everybody fixed on me, which was absolutely making me uncomfortable... Like if you eat, and someone watches you like that, it is really weird, but the real question is, Do I care? Then the answer is definitely not....

Although, I myself was surprised, because during the whole time, I could feel someone's intense eyes on me as well.

Between all the suprising gazes, it the only gaze, which held love in it... and not to mention that it was of Anaisha... But I am surprised, that was it really Love.... Maybe, I am mistaken, because if she would have known the real meaning of Love, then I wouldn't have been here, right??

I know, that the serpentine Bua ji wasn't satisfied with the perfect respect I gave her sometimes ago, and she will say something else again as well.

But now, I wasn't in a mood to get engaged in a argument once again and spoil my mood, which was very good because of food.

So before she could say anything to me, I speed up my steps and literally ran towards the room upstairs, but her slow taunting words were reaching my ears even now, which I ignored very gracefully.

I entered the room, and lay down on the bed once again.

I was feeling very lazy and sleepy. I don't know why, but I don't even want to get up from my bed...

My bed,, wait... Doesn't it sound sarcastic?? My... This bloody word... There is nothing mine here....

Well, whatever.... I just don't care, because I just want to sleep now.

With that, I closed my eyes, and when my eyes started being heavy, even I don't know.

£ After 5 hours

I slowly woke up from my sleep. I don't know, what time it was currently.

My eyes snapped towards the wall clock, and my eyes widened in shock, as soon as my eyes fell on the time. Damn it!! I literally slept for five hours. When did I become so lazy dude...?

No!! Hell No! I am not lazy, I am just idle.... I mean, I have nothing to do, and she clearly told me in the morning itself, that I am not even allowed to go outside, otherwise, I would have gone to my home, but what can I do now?

I am feeling so damn frustrated. She has imprisoned me within the four walls of this mansion. 

I dragged a hand down my face, groaning. Every tick of the clock sounded like mockery. How can someone live like this? Not allowed to step outside, not even breathe the fresh air of freedom? Anaisha had chained me in luxury, but chains are chains, no matter how golden.

My heart twisted painfully, as another thought struck me — my family. I don't even know, what will be the condition of my family at this time? After whatever happened last night, none of them will be in a good condition, I know this well.

My chest tightened. It was all because of me only. My family have to go through all this, just because of me.

Neither would I have met Anaisha, nor would we have ever come close to each other, nor would my family have to endure all this because of me. Everything is my fault only.  

Just because of her madness, because of her so called obsession, she has kept me imprisoned here.

These thoughts made me sick. I wanted to scream, to punch through these marble walls, to run from here, but I could do none of them.
