A World Full of Magic: The Revenge.

The Pajama Party

I knocked on Elsa's door, so her mom opened it.
"Hello Mrs Ramirez. Is Elsa in here?" I asked politely.

"Yes she is. Come on, get in. She's in her room. Go see her."

I like Elsa's mom, she is kind and always worried about her daughter. When I saw her I remembered mom.
I didn't have the chance to live in a true family since I got 13 (when mom died or disappeared or whatever you want to call it).
So anyway, I headed to Elsa's room and knocked on the pink door.

"Come in!" Elsa shouted.

I opened it and saw Elsa lying on her bed. Her room wasn't messy like mine. Everything was in its place: the books were on her desk (mine were missing somewhere), the floor was super clean and her bed was well done. I noticed she had another one too.

"Jason?" She asked quickly, "it's so early!"

"Yeah I know." I said smiling at her, "So, is Leo coming?"

"Why are you asking?"

"I want to know if we'll have some time together, like you know... alone."

"Oh really." She got to her feet and came closer to me then put her arms around my neck, "You sure?"

"I take it back." I laughed and she joined me, then got back to her bed and set on the top of it.

"So," she said, "what are you going to do now? We have a lot of time until sunset." 

"Well, um... we can bake some cookies." I said smiling.

"Ok then, let's head to the kitchen."

We spent a nice time together that evening baking cookies. I hate cooking, but when you're with someone funny, and pretty, well that's different.
I looked at my clock and saw it was 6:15 pm already.

"Oh, Leo might arrive in any minute." Elsa said nervously. I looked at her so she met my eyes. I finally said: "You get nervous when you mention him. Why?"

"I am not nervous." She glared at me, "And anyway it's none of your business."

"Aha, I see." I said joking, "Elsa's in love with..."
She put her hand on my mouth and whispered in my ear: "Say that again, and you're dead."

You don't want to see angry Elsa trying to kill you I am sure, so I shut my mouth.

"You know what?" I asked her, "I like you when you're angry..."
From where did that come from? I cursed myself. Great. Now she will make from me her toy. Another Kate.

She stared at me for a moment, then put her hand on my head and started playing with my hair using her fingers. It didn't bother me, no. I liked it by the way. Man, I liked that girl!

Finally she broke the awkward silence and said: "And I love you when you decide to tell me what's hidden in that heart of yours."

I looked at her not knowing what to say. Did she just said she loves me? I thought. I lowered my shin so our noses touched, when Mrs Ramirez called from another room: "Elsa! Leo came with Jason's sister!"

"Hi." Said Leo as entering with Kate Elsa's room, "Oh Jason, hi. Sorry I didn't notice you."

"Hi Leo."I said back, "And Kate, about that meeting with dad..."

"It's already done in your absence." She caught me with a smile on her face.

I looked at Leo first, then studied Kate. I thought then that Kate came to the party because of Leo, but I didn't say anything. I hoped she wouldn't sheet on her boyfriend, the one she was hanging with. Then I looked at Elsa, who was staring at Leo.
Man! I will never understand how a girl's mind works, I thought.
