I didn't know what people were saying, I guess three persons coming out of a wall maybe. But I didn't have time to ask.
"What the_" Jaz said but got interrupted.
"Yeah pretty weird huh? A wall that's it?" I asked joking.
Selena was glaring, I wanted to know why. "What is it?" I asked smiling.
Selena shook her head. "Nothing forget it..."
I watched her as she got past me, without saying anything, and lead the way. I looked at Jaz.
"I guess we must follow her." I offered.
Jaz kept waiting till Selena was far enough so she couldn't hear us speaking. Then she looked at me, glaring.
                              "What?" I asked.
"You're such an idiot!" She said, "Our conversation meant nothing to you!"
"Wait... What are you talking about?"
She looked at me for a few seconds before she continued.
"You like her." She raised her eyebrows, "I thought Elsa was your_"
"Stop here." I said a little more aloud, and that made Selena turn. "No I don't. Selena and Elsa are just... a family to me." I knew it wasn't right, I couldn't fool myself.
                              "Ok. So?"
                              "So what?" I asked her.
"I must go back..." She looked down.
I didn't want her to leave this early. "Where?" I said.
"My family Jason." She said, tears started forming in her eyes.
"But- I mean... You can't just leave like that! What about Luke and my sister? You won't help me find them?"
"Look, that's not what I meant, but I really need to_"
"Leave-" that was Selena, she stood between us facing Jasmine. "I think you must go if you need your family. I'm sure you miss them."
I didn't like Selena's reaction at all. It was so rude and mean.
"No." I said, "Jaz, I have a reason for not wanting you to leave. I just need a new family. I need support, I need a sister.... Please."
Selena glared at me. But she couldn't say anything of course, after what she did.
Jaz met my eyes. She was thinking. I looked deep in her green irises and saw a bright future. I took her hand.
"Jaz. Please."
She nodded, although I could see this wasn't a complete yes. But as long as I had hope she would stay with us, I felt a little better. She took her hand out of mine. She looked at Selena who was speechless but said nothing. I realized Jaz was still wearing white robes so I cracked a smile.
"What's so funny?" Jaz asked me.
I shook my head. "Come on." I said, "Let's go buy you some clothes."
                              -- -- -- -- -- --
Now it was good. Jaz was wearing blue jeans, green shirt under a pink leather jacket which matched her hair. She was good looking in modern clothes. I smiled.
                              "Now what?" She asked.
"Nothing." I replied. "You look good, that's all."
                              She blushed. "Thanks." She said.
We left the shop laughing. Selena wasn't with us because she followed Fred before we started shopping.
"So," I began, "Wanna see your parents? I didn't ask you not to see them you know. I was just asking if you could come with us... You know, on a mission and stuff."
