~May's POV~
"I can't believe we've actually stayed here for a whole year! And now we're going to move up the next level! I'm getting so siked!" I squeal, not even bothering to hold in my excitement, spinning around in my spinny chair.
"Stop moving May, you need to look perfect which means make up and a whole new dress! Am I right?" Dawn asks the other three girls who give her a blank stare. "Oh come on, give me some encouragement please!"
-3rd Person POV-
"No thanks, besides, it's graduation from level one to two, not May's wedding." Elize mutters, munching on a bag of chips, laying on the couch.
"Hey! We're one of the first people here to graduate, which means we need to look perfect!" Dawn shouts, trying to pose with her make up brush.
"Or we could look like ourselves." She states simply.
"Being yourself never earns you anything." Dawn snaps, hands on her hips before staring at herself in the mirror. "Besides, Paul still hasn't asked me out yet."
"She's resorting to vanity again." Leaf mutters, sighing.
"Yo Deedee, don't you think he may not like you and that's why he won't ask you out?"
"You're crazy, of course he likes me, who wouldn't?" She shouts, flipping her hair, Now she's gone delusional.
"Me. Oh and, he's already got himself a job and love interest, he doesn't have time for your nonsense. Why else would he always be off in a rush." Elize points out, standing up from the couch, crumbling up the bag and throwing it in the mini trash can.
"It's me, right! I'm the love interest!" Dawn yells desperately, zooming over to lightly blue haired girl. She snorts in response, exiting the room while yelling over her shoulder.
"He made me promise not to tell. I'm gonna get some food, yell if you want anything!"
"She just ate five bags of those fattening chips and ten unhealthy bottles of soda plus two boxes of way too cheesy pizza. She must be crazy," She criticizes, going back to where May was. "Never mind, let's just finish fixing your hair for tomorrow." She opens her eyes and sees the girl gone.
"Dawn, I decided to follow what Elize told you. I'm going there as myself." May says, finishing up on putting on her slippers, standing up and waving while she runs out the door. "Bye!"
"Oh come on, what does she know that I don't?"
"Bye."
"Bye."
"What am I supposed to do now?" She slumps down in a chair, staring into her reflection. "He has to like me, I am the ideal girl after all. Maybe... I should catch his attention a little more..." She stares into the mirrored closet, intently pondering, finally fed up with the attention Paul never gives her.
"Ugh! I'll do whatever it takes! No matter how embarrassing I look!" She yells to herself, turning and looking through her closet. "I don't care if I'm gonna look like a giant cake in this dress, I'll make him notice me!"
-Misty's POV-
"I dunno. Maybe you were a little too harsh on her, after all, she loves make up." I point out, eating some of Summerchu's pocky which I don't remember taking.
"Misty, would you have told her no if she asked you if you wanted your make up done?" Elize asks, taking out a plate of cookies and jug of milk.
"Umm..." I smile awkwardly. Would I have said no? I don't like make up but I don't want to hurt her feelings either. "I guess I wouldn't since I don't wanna hurt a friend."
