Drama After a Contest

May's (POV)

"May... May... MAY!!!"I hear a voice yell, the person shaking me by the shoulders. My eyes slowly open, everything looking fuzzy before coming into focus. I let out a yawn, stretching my arms before falling back onto the water bed, swishing before staying still for a couple seconds.

"MAY TODAY'S THE DAY OF THE CONTEST AND YA NEED TO GO PRACTICE OR ELSE YOU'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO SUCCEED!!!!"Bella yells from afar, someone grabs me by the shoulders, making me sit up, shaking me again. I take a few seconds to process what she had said, Contest? Today's the day of the contest, 'kay... I fall back onto the bed, Now why's this such a fuss-TODAY'S THE DAY OF THE CONTEST I GOTTA TRAIN BEFORE IT STARTS! Realization dawns on me as I scurry to the bathroom, grabbing some clean clothes to put on, changing the fastest I've ever changed so far in my life.

I quickly brush my hair and teeth, tying on my bandanna and applying some of my lip gloss while adding spraying some of my perfume onto me before bursting out of the bathroom, rushing to put on my shoes and socks."What time is it?!"I ask while putting on my shoes, sitting on the edge of the water bed I slept in, hastily putting on my fanny pack.

"5:30Am,"E simply states, biting into a red apple as she slips into one of those high spinny chairs kitchens sometimes have. I fall down anime style, I wake up thinking I'd be late for the contest..."We wanted to wake you up early so you could do some extra training. After all, a little training never hurt anyone!"I jumped up from the floor, putting on a determined face as I ball up my fists, my left fist in front of my chest as I speak.

"Well let's all go train! We all might need the practice!"I say, determination poured in my voice as I feel pumped for the contest.

"Don't ya wanna eat breakfast? I packed our lunches already and finished making breakfast, I placed them both in here," Bella informs us, placing three differnet colored plastic lunch boxes on the counter E had gotten her apple from.

"Oh... Right. I guess I got too excited," I say, rubbing the back of my head as my stomach growls."Let's eat our breakfast on our way to the nearby park, that way we get both breakfast and a chance to train!"I exclaim, snapping my fingers together. They both nod before grabbing their boxes and taking off, out the door in seconds as I process what had happened.

"Hey, wait for me!"I yell, grabbing my red box and the backpack Max had given me the day I left to come here, closing the door behind me as I run.

~Time Skip to After the Contest because May has to get her stuff so she can leave~

I grab my stuff and shove them into the backpack I was given.

I take the stairs, not bothering to go on the elevator, rapidly making it down the stairs as I've gotten faster and less exhausted from running. As I'm rushing through the lobby, I bump into someone, falling down on the floor before sitting up and looking up to the person I bumped into,"I'm so sor-!"

"Ro! Rose!"I see a Roselia approach me as I sit up on my legs, seeing that the person I bumped into is someone I haven't seen in so long.
