Extra Credit: We Need to Compete (Part 1)

Elize: You did, you even yelled.

Me: I'm sorry, I really am *bows down as an action for forgiveness* It was just a test.

/\The next day, early in the morning/\

~May's POV~

"*yawn*... I guess I should make breakfast since I'm awake..." I mumble, getting up and walking over to the shower, rubbing my eyes.

/\Time Skip 'cuz ya don't need to know what she does in there!/\

"Let's see... Two eggs... One and a half cup of flour... A cup of milk..." I mumble the ingredients, following the recipe in the cookbook Brock made and gave to Misty (>o> Which she doesn't use...) to cook my big breakfast in no time.

"*yawn* May?.. What are you doing up at this *yawn* hour?" A sleepy gym leader asks, rubbing the sleep away from her eyes, dressed in her usual clothes. I shrug, grabbing two plates and placing five pancakes on one and a stack on the other, setting the one with less in front of Misty. I set the higher stack on the table, away from Misty, quickly grabbing two forks and knives, the syrup bottle, a butter stick, and two empty glass cups.

"Here Misty," I hand her a knife and fork before rushing over to the fridge in the kitchen, taking out the carton of milk and a bowl of fruit to the table. I pour the milk in our glasses, setting the fruit near my plate, sitting down. I cut and bite into my pancake, chewing hungrily and swallowing my milk, popping some fruit in my mouth occasionally with Misty, biting my bacon happily.

After finishing our meals, I grab two more plates and place what small amount we have left on them equally, adding bacon on one, the other fruit and drizzle them both with chocolate syrup instead of maple. Just as I've finished setting the two plates on the table after the finishing touches, a sleepy brunette with waist-length hair and a dark-haired girl with waist-length hair enter in their nightgowns.

"*sniffs the air* Do I smell bacon?" Leaf asks excitedly, past sleepiness forgotten. Her eyes sparkle once she sees the lovely bacon-filled plate with pancakes and side of chocolate syrup, rushing over to it and chowing down, speaking with her mouth stuffed with bacon, "Thank chu May!"

"You're welcome... Imma go out for a walk, be back later 'kay?" I state, looking at each of my friends in the eye. They all nod, Misty going to her room for some peace and quiet I guess.

I leave, opening and closing the door behind me, walking out of the school building. I make my way towards one of the small gardens this place has available for us students, finding my way to a rose garden, letting out my Beautifly and sitting down in the grass. I sit with my legs underneath me, looking over each rose, the tree in here has little blue flowers that fall in my hair, its lovely scent enchanting me, making me feel as if I'm in a dream.

I can sense someone coming, someone familiar, I look over my shoulder, curious as to who that might be.

~Drew's POV~

I woke up early this morning, like usual I cook breakfast for everyone and Ash comes running in with a new clean plate, a fork and knife, ready to eat. I leave as soon as I finish eating, Gary and Paul come in just as I stand up from my seat, placing my plate in the sink, "Gary, it's your turn today."

I leave, ignoring to groan of annoyance that comes from him and the laughter following. I make my way to the gardens, spotting some rose gardens but I ignore them, my heart telling me to go to a specific one.
