"Wow." There was no word more accurate. Mitch couldn't wipe the admiration off of his face while he watched the passion radiate from Scott's body. He had no clue who this guy really was, but he felt like he could see into a part of his life with his musical presentation. It was a life well lived with beautiful memories and a bright future solely based on the efforts he put into his music. The way his voice moved was absolutely flawless and entrancing, and the way he touched the piano was with such grace and fragility.

Mitch almost forgot to breathe while Scott finished his piece. He was only brought to reality when he suddenly realized Scott was wearing a leopard print snap back. Only Scott could make a snap back seem elegant. "So, that's me."

"I'm so amazed. I mean, I didn't assume you couldn't play. I knew you could... I mean, I didn't know. You just seemed like the type... And you played so gracefully it was beautiful and the way you played the piano was just so..." Mitch was moving his hands while he spoke, and he physically reached in front of him, tangibly looking for the words. "Words are hard. It was good."

Scott smirked. "Thank you... but it's you I should be complimenting. I would love to duet with you sometime." Scott's eyes widened. "Like, singing. A duet. A singing duet. Not..."

"I kind of assumed," Mitch put his hand to his mouth, stifling a laugh. "That would be fun! It would be like an ice breaker for me here. This is literally my first day."

"Well, I'm glad to have crashed your practice session on your first day. That doesn't happen that often. You'll have people who come in and will try to tweak your music. If you're feeling it, just accept their advice but ignore it unless it's Ben."

"What if it's you?"

"Don't take advice from me. You're a queen." Scott stood up from the piano bench and waved his hand towards it, offering Mitch the seat once again. He didn't take it yet, giving a curtsy.

"Queen will do what Queen will does." Mitch followed the curtsy with a wink. "So, do you want to stay around and collaborate? I mean, I don't want to keep you from anything."

"Actually," Scott glanced at his watch. "I'm meeting my best friend for lunch. Maybe another time?"

"Absolutely!" Mitch sat back down on the piano bench and crossed his legs. "I'll be here a lot, I feel... so I guess I'll see you around, Scott?"

"You will. I'm here more than I am at home." Scott smirked. "See you around, Mitch." Scott stepped in the doorway and waved. It was the dorkiest wave, accompanied by the cheesiest grin, but it made Mitch's heart jump out of his chest. After Scott was gone he turned around and immediately began playing a cute little tune, making it up on the spot. He sang quietly, letting whatever silly words spill from his mouth.

"I've got a new little song because I might have fallen.
But I can't sing it too loud because he'll hear me callin'.
He's right down the hall and he looks really tall, his name is Ott-Sco."

Mitch wrinkled his nose and continued.

"I'm really, really weird and my lyrics are all nonsense.
But nobody can hear me because I'm as quiet as a..."

Shit. What rhymes with nonsense and can be quiet? Mitch lingered on the chord, blocking out the notes so he could fill the silence.

"Mitch!" The beautiful voice called out again, saving Mitch from his un-creative brain. He turned his head and removed his hands from the keys, as if Scott could see evidence of his little ditty. "I almost forgot! Can you do something for me?"

"Oh! Um, sure." Mitch stood up.

"So, about two days ago I started this silly thing where I take a photo every single day. I want to take pictures that have meaning... and, well, I met you. And that's cool."
