"Be safe, Graham, and have fun on the seas, OK?" I said to Graham as I shook his hand.
He smiled back."Good luck, Miss Pearl. I hope you succeed in saving Captain Sparrow."
We said our farewells before splitting up. Graham had decided that he was to stay on the Allure, wanting to travel around the world just like Captain Phillip Lee had planned. It made no difference to me, I'd probably get to Jack a lot faster than I would have with Graham. The last person to see off was Tricks.
"Well Scarlett, I guess this is it." Tricks sighed.
"Oh don't be so dramatic." I laughed."I'm sure we'll meet again soon."
"You said that last time. It's been three years since the last time I saw you."
"You know what Jack is like, I can't make him change his mind about anything."
We tried to make this goodbye short and sweet, knowing that we'd be standing around for ages speaking and avoiding the fact that I could ultimately not see him again. As soon as we turned away from each other, I sped up my pace, knowing that I might just be able to get ahead of Jack.
Because it was still the early hours of the morning, it was awfully quiet on the docks. This was too strange, they were supposed to be full of people and chatting, market stalls with annoying business men/women on them along with the countless drunken pirates that roamed the place.
I missed Jack.
Although I found all of it to be quite eery, it gave me an advantage; I could get to the next ship quicker. Unfortunately, I did not know the ship and I did not know the crew members. It would be a lot harder to get on this ship without some form of bribery, whatever that would be. I hoped that the coins I had would be able to get me on, rather than any other form of payment.
As I walked on the wooden boards, I felt the need to tip toe over them. It was so peaceful that I didn't want to disturb it. This could have been the last quiet moments of my life at this point, there was no way I was going to ruin it. Stopping for a moment, I took out the map, checking that I was going the right way. I had circled the part of the dock at which the ship would be, and I wasn't too far away from it. Taking a deep breath, I folded up the map and continued on.
The ship was huge, bigger and grander than anything I'd ever seen; even the British Navy ships had nothing on this. There was no way a pirate could own (or should I say, steal) a ship like this. Whoever was on here was fancy and would not take in a woman not matter what. I wasn't even sure how many people were one there, but I knew that I would have to stowaway if worst came to worst.
Even though there was still no one on the docks, I was still wary of my surroundings. If anyone did show up, I'd have to find somewhere to hide or come up with an excuse. But much to my surprise, I reached the ship with no problems. There were no supplies around it which was odd, every ship needed something before or during its voyage. As I inspected the area, I did not notice the person heading towards me.
A hand clamped onto my shoulder and I screamed. Turning around, I gasped."The Master!? What the hell are you doing here!?"
"Hello again, your majesty."
