Digging, Digging, Digging

We had pulled up on land at long last, on a white sandy beach accompanied by a rainforest (urgh) and apparently, this was where we would find the Dead Man Chest. Jack, Elizabeth, Norrington and I would go look for the chest whilst everyone else stayed on the ship. We were not the best team, I had to admit.

The men and I waited for Elizabeth to tell us where it was exactly. Now that we had finished our lovely long walk along the beach, with a whole load of sand now wedged into my boots, I just wanted to get the chest and out of there. But Elizabeth being Elizabeth, she just kept pacing back and forth, back and forth....

"This thing clearly doesn't work and it certainly doesn't show you what you want most!" Elizabeth huffed, sitting on the sand and crossing her arms.

"Yes it does, you're sitting on it." Jack corrected her.

"I beg your pardon?"

"Move." Back shooed her away, then whistled to indicate to Norrington to start digging. Norrington stuck a spade in the ground, clearly showing how fed up he was, and started to dig.

It took a while for Norrington to actually get to the chest. I figured that Elizabeth probably sent us to the wrong place, being the total idiot she was. None of us were talking to each other, we were all too bored! It was then that we heard the space hit something, sending us all onto our feet.

Hauling the chest out of the hole, Jack opened it. This wasn't what I was expecting it to look like, nor had anyone described it like this. The chest was full of notes and letters, though there was something underneath his bulging pile. Jack lifted out a smaller chest and this time we knew that this was it. We all held our ears to it, waiting for something to happen. That's when we heard a beating sound.

"Bloody hell." I muttered.

"It's real." Elizabeth said in disbelief.

"You actually were telling the truth." Norrington said.

"I do that quite a lot, yet people are always surprised." Jack pointed out.

"With good reason." We heard another voice. Everyone turned around to see Will Turner. How was he alive and off of that ship!?

"Will!" Elizabeth squealed.  She fussed over him as they embraced and kissed. I wanted to gag.

"How did you get here?" Jack interrupted the kiss.

"Sea turtles mate, a pair of them strapped to my feet." Will sneered.

"Not so easy is it?"

"But I do owe you thanks Jack. After you tricked me onto that ship to square your debt with Jones."

"What!?" Elizabeth gasped.

"What?" Jack's voice went high.

"I was reunited with my father."

"Bootstrap is still there? God, how long has that been?" I asked, shocked.

"Oh, well you're welcome then." Jack said to Will.

"Everything you said to me, everything you said was a lie!?" Elizabeth stormed over to Jack. I stepped in front of him, preparing to defend him.

"Listen, Elizabeth, if you don't shut that hole in your face, then I don't know what I'll do! But I can assure you, that it will be very painful on you and you only!" I screamed, letting my rage out. Everyone stared at me, in total silence.

"Oi! What are you doing?" Jack asked as Will produced the key to the chest.

"I'm going to kill Jones." Will simply answered. Jack drew his sword, aiming it at Will.

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that mate. Cause if Jones is dead, then who's to call his terrible beastie off the hunt, eh?"

Elizabeth and Norrington seemed confused, though Will had a look in his eye that meant he knew as well. The Kraken was a foul sea creature, not something that you wanted to mess with. If Jones ordered this creature of the deep to kill you, then believe me, you would not be getting out of there alive. I only just escaped with my life and that was only because Jack had to be taken aboard the Flying Dutchman, meaning he took me with him. Another reason I owe Jack my life.

"Now, if you will, the key?" Jack held his hand out. Just as Will was about to hand it over, he unsheathed Elizabeth's sword, holding it out to Jack. I also unsheathed my sword, preparing for this fight.

"I keep the promises I make Jack. I intend to free my father. I hope you're here to see it."

"I can't let you do that either." Norrington smirked, aiming his sword at Will. The three were in a triangle as the women were pushed to the side."So sorry."

"I knew you'd warm up to me eventually." Jack smiled until the swords were both on him.

"Lord Beckett desires the contents of that chest. I deliver it, I Gert my life back."

"Ah, the dark side of ambition."

The men all suddenly lunged towards each other, swords clashing together. Jack pushed me away so I ended up on the floor. I heard Elizabeth screaming, as per usual, as the right carried on. As Will ran away, Jack and Norrington chased after him. The key was in someone's hand then it was taken off of them. I couldn't keep up.

"Guard the chest!" Will instructed Elizabeth as he ran off.

"No!" She shouted back, following pursuit."This is barbaric!"

"And you'd know everything about that wouldn't you, Mrs Snobby Pants!" I screamed after her. She turned around, shocked at my statement.

"They're going to kill each other!"

"So what?! At this moment of time, I don't care! All I really want to do right now, is STRANGLE YOU!"

"Will! HELP!"
