"What on earth are you doing here?!" You exclaimed in hush tones. By now Harry had sat up and ripped his earbuds out.

"I need to talk to you" he said quietly, almost the whole of the waiting room was staring at him. His entrance wasn't exactly subtle.

"You can fuck off" Harry scoffed as he took a seat next to you, where Ellen sat before.

"I just need to explain myself" Josh countered making Harry laugh maliciously.

"Explain what? That you're a dickhead? You left her there, your pregnant ex girlfriend, with your child, for some bimbo" Harry said with disgust. The receptionist of the ward giving him a glance to control his language and temper.

"I need to explain why I left. Alone" he said quietly and calmly. Although Harry wasn't happy, he gave you a look before standing up and taking a seat on the other side of the room. Giving you both a hard stare. It was scary really. He wasn't blinking.

"Y/N" he started, taking your gaze off of Harry.

"I am so sorry. I had no idea. When you said you didn't sleep with Harry, I felt so guilty. I was so stupid, I accused you of so much and you didn't do anything. I'm so sorry you had to do all this on your own" you were trying not hard not to slap him. He realised all his mistakes, but no amount of sorry was going to make you feel any better

"Who was she?" You asked. The only thing playing on your mind right now was how he could move on so fast. How he seemed to do it without a care in the world.

"Right. Thought you might ask about her. Her name is Melissa" he said with a forced sound of joy. He knew you weren't going to take too kindly to this newfound information. Which is why he was trying to make it seem like it was a good thing.

"And is she your girlfriend?" The smile wiped right off his face, he looked to the ground before bringing a hand up to scratch the back of his neck.

"We haven't really put labels on anything yet" he said awkwardly. You could feel the flow of tears starting to accumulate in your tear ducts but you bit your lip and tried to force them back down again.

"Okay, let me put it this way; are you seeing her?" You said with such heavy sarcasm. Josh simply bit his lip, frustrated that he couldn't really hide that guilty part of him.

"Yes" he replied with a slight sting in his tongue. Almost as if admitting that to you had hurt him.

"Are you still seeing her?" He nodded his head again, feeling too ashamed to speak now apparently.

"How does she feel about this?" You asked, motioning a hand around the protruding bump that sat happily under your t-shirt.

"She's a little freaked out. A little hurt. But she hasn't left me so that's good" he forced a laugh out only making you feel even more awkward pain. The unnecessary laugh making a pit form in your stomach.

"And how do you... Feel about this?" Your voice was quiet, soft and, timid. Unsure about how he was going to react.

"I'm shocked. I didn't really expect any of this. I'm hurt you didn't tell me sooner, I know I kept pushing you away but you know how much I run my mouth. But most of all I want to be a part of the babies life. I want to be dad, I want that role in my own child's life. I want to look after you too, I will be at your service whenever you need me. 2am ice cream? I've got it. Want something they only sell in America? I'll hop on a plane and find it. I just want you to be happy" you stared into his eyes as he said all these lovely words. One things nagging at you.

He was still with her though

You're not saying you would take him back that easily nor are you saying that right now that option is even on the cards, but, the fact he physically couldn't be yours in a small matter of time was what hurt. The fact she was in the picture and even if you wanted ice cream at 2 in the morning, you knew he couldn't do it. He lived on almost the other side of London, he would be with her, none of it would work. No matter how much you wanted it to.

"Just think about it" he whispered as a noise started to rise from the wards entrance. You were about to reply but you were interrupted as a bunch of boys came through the doors, instantly stopping as they saw Harry sat in a grumpy slump on the other side, they followed his gaze to where you and Josh sat and all of them instantly tensed, looking ready to punch Josh in the face or looking at you with warning.

"What's he doing here?" Cal asked, spitting as much strength into his question as possible.

"He just wanted to talk. But it's okay, the talking is over now" a smile played on your lips as you tried to ignore Josh's stare burning into the back of your head. But before all the boys could sit down, Dr. Davidson had appeared by the desk with a clipboard in hand.

The moment she saw you with a larger group of different boys, she gave you a look as if to say 'really?!' You smiled with a small chuckle as she looked at each individual boy, skipping over Cal and Harry as she knew who they were.

"Please tell me one of these is the father?" She asked sounding a little stressed with the size of the group growing every visit.

"Yeah, uh, this is Josh" you introduced him as he shook hands with the doctor. You introduced Callux and Tobi as well before you settled into her office.

"If you bring anymore boys with you Miss Y/L/N I'm going to become a little concerned" she smirked, a small pink tint rising on your cheeks.

"There are actually about 11 of us back home" Callux laughed. You smiled thinking about all the boys you had back home but laughed when you saw the look on the doctors face.

"And you're certain he's the father?" She asked with a slight smile tugging at the corners of her cherry lips. The room erupted in a chorus of laughter before she settled into the serious stuff.

"Okay Y/N. Would you like to hear your baby's heartbeat today?"
