Today I had an interview with the breakfast club and I mentally prepared myself for the questions. I get in the car and my driver drives me and my manager to the interview.

"You ready?" He asks

"Yea" I say

"You know they might throw a crazy question in there" He says

"I know,I got it" I say

We pull up to the building and get out the car,I walk in and go upstairs to the room. I walk in to greet Envy and Angela Yee,Charlemagne wasn't here,I take a seat and the interview starts.

"We have a special guest in the building today,he's here to give us his testimony,Mr. August Alsina" Angela says

"How's it going August since we last seen you?" Envy asks

"I've been good,my album Testimony just dropped today and it's really a special moment,great feedback so far" I say

"I hear you,make sure y'all go and get that in stores now" He says into the mic

"Tell us about the album" He says

I don't really associate myself with Charlemagne he constantly talks about Ciara for no reason,everyone's entitled to an opinion but to keep nitpicking at her for no reason is stupid,especially since she never did anything to him,he feels the need to disrespect drake,he's fake to Nicki,and he's just messy. I clear my throat before speaking.

"Well it's really personal to me,times when I would be in New Orleans or here,I would still see the same struggles of life,trust,and commitment,relationships with people,family issues,it's all put into the album which makes it a Testimony,so given the title you should expect nothing but honesty and stuff from the heart" I say

"With that being said,some people wanna know how you have such a strong New Orleans accent but you spent most of your life here in New York" Angela says

"I moved here when I was 5 so I was already adapted to the New Orleans accent with being able to talk already,and I would still go down there to visit family every other month so the times I would go would be like a reminder of the accent,as I got older I started getting some of the New York accent but once I turned into an adult I would go down there every month for like a week or two,sometimes I was there for a month so I have a little bit of both accents" I say

"So the last time you were here,you said you don't eat cooch" She laughs

"What about it?" I laugh

"I'm just saying a man is never gonna be good in bed if he doesn't do it" She laughs

"Jesus Christ,what I don't understand is why it's such a big deal and I don't even respond to people on Twitter but it's become a big deal to a lot of woman that I ain't eating yo pussy" I say

"It's radio you gotta say vagina" Envy laughs

"Vajayjay" I say

"There you go" He says

"It ain't like I've never ate the box,it's that the problem with the world is niggas going around eating random box" I laugh

"Who eats random box?" Envy asks

"A lot of these people" I chuckle

"Some guys just enjoy doing it" Angela asks

"I get it" I say

"Congratulations on your album though lets get into this one song,Kissin On My Tattoos,do you have a special person in your life?" Envy asks

"You know,some of these songs I wrote a few years ago,songs in particular,my brother really wanted me to pursue a music career but I wasn't with it at first so to make him happy I wrote a few songs,those specific songs I wrote when I was in my last relationship and FML,the only songs that I recently wrote are Grind & Pray,Mama,Benediction,Testify,and Right There,but I'm still proud of it" I say

"I hear you" Envy says

The interview goes on for 30 more minutes,it was a really good one,one of my favorites. I leave and go home to prepare for tomorrow's schedule,I have a busy week ahead of me.
