Nicki POV

I've been staying with my mom lately and just like Ciara said,I started moving some of my stuff out the house. I can't believe this is really happening right now,I was with Jhené,Nami,and Zahir,I still see him every other day. I watched Nami run around the playground and think back to the day me and Ci met at this exact park.

*Flashback*

I was running towards the slide anxious to try this new trick I wanted to do. There was this girl with brown curly hair sitting on it talking to somebody on the bench. When she went down the slide,I did after her,not giving her enough time to get up. Accidentally I kicked her and she tipped over off the slide.

"Ouch" She whines

"I'm sorry" I say as she stands up

She was really pretty,she had brown eyes,a nice completion,and she sounded like an angel. I helped her get the playground mulch off her. My mom and I'm guessing her mom came over here.

"What happened baby?" My mom asks

"I accidentally kicked her off the slide,I didn't give her enough time to get off" I say

"Did you apologize?" My mom asks

"Yes mommy" I say

"You think you guys can play nice?" Her mom asks

I nod my head and look over at the girl.

We go over to the swings and I start up the conversation.

"What's your name?" I ask

"Ciara,what's yours?" She asks

"Onika" I say

*Flashback Over*

From that day forward my life has been a roller coaster,that was actually the day we all met,besides Jhené and Jermaine,we met them in college. I sigh and rub my hands together.

"How could I allow myself to let it escalate that far?" I ask

"All I know is that things happen for a reason,she'll come around,maybe this happened so you guys can remember not to take things for granted or to remind y'all how much you guys love each other" Jhené says

"It's just hard,she doesn't want anything to do with me,she said it herself" I say

"Do what you think feels right" She says while hugging me

We stay at the park for a few more minutes before we leave and go get Ice cream. When we get it Jhené drives me to Ci's house to drop Zahir off,I knock on the door,when she answers it she looks at me with so much anger,hurt,and regret. I give her the baby bag and the car seat with the baby in it. She closes the door and I slowly walk back to the car. I get in and Jhené starts driving.

"What happened?" She asks

"Not a word" I mumble

"It'll get better" She says while rubbing my arm

I get the cold shoulder from Ci every time I see her,it's like I lost love from an angel and she's treating me like a stranger,times ticking fast and I need to be with her. I'm with whatever she wants to do,as long as I can ride away with her. I swear this time around I'll give her whatever she needs more than her eyes could ever see. Whether it's my love,attention,opinion,trust,whatever. Times moving fast but not fast enough,I just wanna walk in the house and scoop her in my arms. But if my time is up I need her to let me know now,cause she hasn't been talking to me so I don't know how she really feels. I will find a way to her heart again,it's like I wanna speed up time just to see where we stand. But I guess I gotta wait it out and I'm willing to.
