Ciara POV
Today is my 26th birthday and normally I would go to a club or have a party but that's not the case this time. I'm probably gonna go out to eat,I really don't care. My main focus is on Zahir lately,he's a month old now. He doesn't really cry unless he's hungry,diaper needs to be changed,or he wants one of us. I put him in his crib for his nap and walk downstairs with the baby monitor. The doorbell rings and I answer it to Nicki and the rest of them,they come in kinda loud and it gives me a headache.
"There go the birthday girl,happy birthday" August smiles while hugging me
"Happy birthday" Everybody else says
"Thank you" I say
I really hope they don't wake Zahir,I hear talk about popping bottles and smoking.
"There won't be any drinking or smoking coming from me and y'all better not wake up my child" I say
"Oh my bad" Jermaine whispers
I hear crying through the baby monitor and I send all of them an evil glare.
"I just got him to sleep 5 minutes ago,thank you so much" I say sarcastically
"I got it" Nicki laughs
"What you wanna do today?" J'Shawn asks
"Probably out to dinner,I can't do certain stuff yet" I say while sitting on the couch
"Alright let's do that,where you wanna go?" Drake asks
"Applebee's" I say
"Ok we'll go in a few hours" He says
"You start modeling again?" Safaree asks
"No" I say
"You ok? You seem down" Jhené says
"I just wish Nicki would stop lying to me" I say
"What you mean?" Nayvadius asks
"Since the night you came with me to LA she's been hiding something,I just got this bad feeling" I sigh
"Hopefully it's not that bad" Tyla says
We lounge around for a few hours then I start getting ready to go out to dinner. When I'm done I get Zahir ready and pack his baby bag,we get in the car drive to the restaurant 2 cars deep. The hostess walks us to the table and gives us our menu. When the waitress comes I order mozzarella sticks and a Pepsi,I'm not really in a mood for food. We talk and laugh the remainder of the night,they have the waiters sing happy birthday and I can't help but smile. I look over at Nicki and she looks at me with a sorry and regretful look,I sigh and shake my head. Even though I didn't do much for my birthday I still enjoyed it.
