Ceremony

Ciara POV

"I can't believe Ciara's about to miss my wedding" I heard Tyla say as I opened the door

I place my hands on her shoulders and smirk.

"Ummm but guess what,you're wrong" I say while slightly shaking her

She turns around and smiles while hugging me tightly.

"I told you I would never miss anything important to you" I smile

"I really thought you weren't gonna come" She says

"I'm pretty sure everyone did,my flight came late,then I had no service on the plane and my phone died" I say

"As much as we're happy you made it and trust me we're all happy but you gotta get dressed right now" Jhené says

I grab the dress and go to change into it,the stylists does my hair and makeup and I put the heels on.

"5 minutes" The wedding planner says

We grab our individual flowers and I smile at Tyla,I'm so happy for her and Christian.

"Alright let's go" The wedding planner says

First the bridesmaids walk out with the groomsmen. We stand in our place and I smile at Christian before watching Tyla walk down the aisle with her dad. She stands in front of Christian and the look he gives her makes your heart melt. The ceremony starts and I look over at Nicki,the way her eyes lit up when I walked in the room made me feel some type of way. I know she's been asking about me and I do think about forgiving her sometimes but it's a deeper meaning behind this. The pastor reads a scripture from the bible and Tyla and Christian read their vows.

"Tyla Parham do you take Christian Morton to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The pastor asks

"I do" She says

"Christian Morton do you take Tyla Parham to be your lawfully wedded wife?" He asks

"I do" Christian says

"By the state of New York,I know pronounce you husband and wife,you may now kiss the bride" The pastor says

Christian and Tyla kiss while everyone claps and cheers. They walk down the aisle hand in hand and we follow suite. We change into our reception clothes and I talk to them for a while. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I look up to see Nicki looking down at me.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" She asks

I feel Tyla kick me under the table and I look at her like she's crazy. She gives me the 'Do it' face and she was really serious. I sigh and stand up.

"Ok" I say

We walk off to a area where no one is,she rubs her arms before looking me in my eyes.

"I didn't mean for things to go the way they did the last time I seen you" She says softly

"Ok" I say dryly

"I was just really upset and I wasn't thinking" She says

"Mhmm" I say

"Can you talk to me?" She asks lowly

I unfold my arms and reach my hand out.

"Give me your phone" I say

She looks at me confused while giving it to me. I unlock it and go to her notes and write down : Ritz Carlton Hotel,42nd street,room 504

I give the phone back to her and watch her read it.

"If you really wanna talk meet me there tomorrow whenever you're ready,that's where I've been this whole time" I say

I walk away and go talk to my mom. Seeing Nicki after three months felt good in a way,no doubt about that.
