I've had Zahir for the last week since the whole thing with Alan happened. Ci has been really strung out about it and Nicki has been comforting her,even though this happened to her before,it's still a shocking moment,who wants to get stabbed twice in less than 10 years? I was talking to my mom about the situation.

"Well Nayvadius would you not expect her to shut down?" She asks

"I know but I'm worried about her,she's barely eating,she's still in pain,and she can't sleep cause she keeps having nightmares" I sigh

"Just give it some time" She says

"I guess" I say

"You speak to your cousin?" She asks

"Hell no" I say

My cousin recently betrayed my trust,for some reason he felt the need to contact one of my old friends from college who was fake as fuck and they tried to con me out of $5,000. I don't know what I did to deserve this but stuff happen. This industry is like a miracle to me but selfish ass people don't wanna see me do good. Everybody wants a dollar or check and it's sickening. People act like I left them behind when in reality they showed their true colors,nobody understands what I went through to get where I'm at but the people who supported me. Everybody wants a piece of what I got to offer and fame,I would never understand how someone can be like that. All I ever wanted was for everyone to believe in me,I came,I struggled,I made it,and I conquered through it all. I kept my word,I promise on everything,I never went against anybody unless they did something to me. I wish everyone could see how I gave my all to be where I'm at,but I got something for both they asses.

"You should talk to him,hear him out" She says

"Why would I?" I ask

"That's still your family" She says

"Ma you and I both know blood don't mean shit if you don't got loyalty or trust" I say

"First off,watch your mouth,second you will consider it cause I said so" She says

I rub my hand down my face and sigh.

"I'm having dinner at the house tomorrow,I would love it if you put it aside and show up" She says

"I don't know" I say

"Please,for me" She says

"Fine" I say

"Everything will be done at 5" She says while standing up

"Alright" I say

"Bye Nay" She says

"Bye ma" I say

She walks out and I take a deep breath,what am I gonna do?

The next day comes around and it's slowly becoming 5 o'clock. I get Zahir dressed in a pair of black shorts,white short sleeve shirt,and black vans. I bring a hoodie for him incase it gets cold and we leave. When I get to my mom house I sigh and Knock on the door,as long as Darien stays out my face I see no problem. My mom opens the door with a smile and hugs me.

"You don't have to stay long" She says

"I'll be good" I say while following her in the kitchen

She nods her head and I go greet my aunts,uncles,other cousins,and grandmother. My grandmother asks to hold him so I let her. About 3 hours pass and I really enjoyed myself,I go in the kitchen to talk to my mom real quick but stop when I see her and Darien. I was about to walk out when she called my name and told me to stay.

"I know you probably hate me but I'm really sorry about what I did" He says

"I don't wanna hear your sorry ass apology" I mumble

"I know it was wrong but you acting like you ain't never do nothing wrong to me" He says

"Like what?" I snap

"As soon as you got famous you forgot about me and wasn't answering my calls" He says

"That's no where near true! For your information half the reason I did what I did was for you! I treated you as if you were my brother,not my cousin,all I did was try to protect you and keep you alive!" I say

"Whether I forgot about you or not,what you did was still foul!" I yell

I calm myself down and look at my mom.

"I'm just gonna go now" I say

"Do you really have to?" She asks

"Yea,it's Zahir's bedtime anyway" I say

I hug her and go get Zahir,I say bye to everybody and strap him into his car seat. I don't know if I'll ever forgive Darien but as of now,fuck him.
