Wait I have a sister?! (Selena Gomez story)

Dinner and a movie.

I ran towards the kitchen and heard Selena walking through the house. My Mum was out getting groceries. She normally let us sleep in while she went, but Selena had obviously gotten up, went to Starbucks then I got up, so we were already both up early as well. 

"No point in running, I will catch you."

"Unlikely. I am the fast sister." I shouted through. I quickly ran into the hallway and upstairs as she would know where I was from shouting. I ran into my room, pushing past my door and hiding behind it. You know when you're hiding, maybe in a game of hide and seek, or maybe from an older sibling, and you just, in that specific moment, you need to pee. You haven't needed all morning, heck you have barely had anything to drink and boom, you still need. 

I could hear Selena coming up the stairs, trying to be as quiet as possible, but I could still here her as the house was completely silent. She walked into my room and searched around. I was hidden behind the door so she couldn't see me. She spun around on her heel and was just about to walk out the room. I was so happy, I had actually hidden from her, normally she had always spotted me, this time? Nope.

Well, then, my phone started ringing. I had it on loud, and it seemed to be so much louder than normal because of the silence that had fell through the house. I grabbed it and quickly declined the call, but I was way to slow, already she had shot back into the room, slammed the door and grabbed me. 

"Ow, ow okay, yup that's my hair, and ow." She shoved me onto the bed. She just started shouting at me and I wasn't even paying attention, I was paying more attention to her face scrunching up every 5 minutes. She obviously was speaking, but I interrupted.

"Have you ever noticed how your face scrunches up like a raccoon or something when you shout at me?" Instantly she punched my arm.

"Jeez okay, ouch. Maybe the wrong description of it."

"You're such an idiot!!" She screamed.

"Whatever, you love it."

"Why are you being so rude?"

"How am I being rude?"

She just groaned and stormed off. I rolled my eyes and checked my phone to see who had called. Simon. I quickly rung him back.

"Hello, hello, see you now want to talk to me." I laughed.

"Look, I'm sorry, I was hiding from my sister and you phoned at the exact time she was walking by me!"

"Oh, Nina, I'm sorry." I could hear him trying not to laugh.

"Ha, ha, yeah whatever Simon. So why did you call?"

"Well, we've known each other for a while now and I was wondering...." He burst out laughing and I smiled.

"Kidding, no, but Rory's band are playing at the cafe tonight, was wondering if you wanted to come?" Rory was Simon's best friend, I had met him a couple of times and he seemed really nice.

"Of course! I'd love too, anything to see you."

"Well aren't you adorable." We both laughed and then I hung up after about 20 minutes of talking. I heard the front door slamming, I ran downstairs to see my Mum coming in with 5 bags of shopping.

"Hey honey, where's Selena?" I shrugged. Where was she?

"She must be in her room, want me to go get her?"

"Yeah I'm just gonna make lunch." I nodded and went upstairs. 

I stood by her door and listened, I couldn't hear anything, but I knocked just in case.
