1st Move ng Prinsipe

(Zach's POV)

I am happy everything turned out well sa paghingi ko ng permiso from Alex' parents. It's time to make my move to her now. Kailangan kong mapatunayan sa kanya na buong buo ang pagmamahal ko sa kanya at hinding-hindi ko sya sasaktan. I wanted to make her feel really special.

Nagsimula na akong mag-ayos para sa pagpasok ko sa trabaho. I thought of dropping by the flower shop to bring something for Alex and na-realize ko, hindi ko pala alam ang favorite flower nya. A moment of thinking and I just decided to buy her white roses.

I made my way all through the office bitbit ang pumpon ng bulaklak na binili ko. All eyes were on me and the flowers. Nag-iisip na siguro sila kung para kanino ko ibibigay ang mga yun. I just passed by them ignoring their stares. I know, Alex will be here any minute. I wanted to surprise her. As I approach the office, I widely opened the door and surprised to see Alex inside.

"H-hi! Good morning. Ang aga mo naman ata ngayom", bati ko.

"Hi, good morning din Sir", sagot naman nya.

"Ahm, flowers for you Alex. Di ko alam favorite flower mo but I just decided to choose those. Sign of my pure intensions, I guess?" kakamot kamot sa ulong sabi ko.

Gumaan naman ang pakiramdam ko nang makita kong nagustuhan naman ni Alex ang mga bulaklak.

"Thank you Sir. Actually, white roses are my favorite. I want to commend you for good guessing", sabay ngiti nito sa akin na agad din namang napawi. "But Zach, hindi pa rin nawawala ang worries ko about this. You are my boss. Ano na lang ang iisipin nila?" tanong nya sa akin.

"Actually, napag-isipan ko na yan. I have talked about that with Nick. I will be assigning you to Royale Inc. You're still an employee of El Grande but you will serve as our coordinator inside Royale Inc. Is it fine with you?", tanong ko sa kanya.

"If that's the only option I have, why wouldn't it be?" sagot nya.

"Actually, ayoko sana. Deciding that way means I have to be separated from you but then, I have to take care of you. Ayokong maging usapin pa to. If there will be people who would question my decision, they are free to meet me here in the office. Pero they will never have the right to hurt you. Gaya ng ipinangako ko, I won't let anyone hurt you, princess. But don't worry, I'll always make it a point na hindi mo ko ganun kama-mimiss", saad ko.

"Patawa ka talaga! Anyways, salamat. Pero, kelan ako magsisimula sa Royale Inc.?" tanong nya.

"Tomorrow. Ngayon pa lang, namimiss na kita princess. Can I kiss you?", sabi ko,

"Sira! Andito tayo sa trabaho. Tsaka, anong kiss kiss ka dyan, nanliligaw ka pa lang di ba?" tanong nito.

"Ay oo nga pala" sagot ko kasunod ang pagtawa. "Anyways, let's start working. Nick will be here at 10AM para ma-discuss ang lahat ng magiging responsibilities mo. I have to know all the details. Syempre, ayokong mapagod ka", sunod ka pa.

"Zach, yun ang hindi dapat mangyari. I don't want to be treated that way. Ayoko ng special treatment. I want to be fair with the others. Kaya kung ano man ang dapat kong gawin, provide me then. No if's and no but's, maliwanag?", sambit ni Alex.

"Yes princess. As you wish!" biro ko sa kanya.

"Hay naku, bahala ka na nga dyan. Anyways, thanks again for the flowers. I love them", sabi nito at lumabas na ng opisina.

Napangiti naman ako nang tumunog ang aking cellphone. Napakunot ang noo ko nang makita ko sa screen kung sino ang tumatawag. Si Monique.

"What do you need?", tanong ko agad.

"Good morning Babe. Is that how you greet everyone calling you? I'm here at the lobby. Will you fetch me here or I'll just proceed to your office?", Monique.

"You cannot barge in just like that in anyone's company. You should have at least an appointment Monique", saad ko.

"Well, I thought I don't need it then. Di naman kasi ako nagpapa-appointment dati di ba Zach?" Monique said in a teasing way.

"Monique, stop bringing up the past. Matagal ng tapos yun. I hope you'll just manage to accept it. I have moved on already. As a matter of fact, I have no plans of getting back with you", diin ko.

"You're wrong Zach. I know, mahal mo pa din ako. Hindi mo lang ako magawang harapin ngayon dahil nasasaktan ka pa din. I'll assure you, you'll be mine again. Or--, kung hindi ka magiging akin, nobody will have you!", sambit ni Monique kasunod ng pagpatay sa kabilang linya.

I was pissed off having that conversation with Monique. But, what worries me is yun mga binitawang salita ni Monique. What does she mean by that? Kung ano pa man yun, di ko sya hahayaang magtagumpay.
