'Can you believe this,' Sara said excitedly. 'This is the coolest thing that has ever happened to me in forever. Thank you so much.'

'It was nothing,' Esme replied as she tied her hair up. 'Do you have it up yet?'

'I'm just waiting for you,' Sara smiled. 'Hurry up.'

Esme went to sit down next her best friend at her computer, where Sara had opened up an internet tab and had set up the music video, that they had starred in with Simon Hoult, whilst staying in Palm Springs.

'Are you ready?'

'Yeah,' Esme grinned. 'Play.'

'I could see if we have a size ten for you,' Ecie said helpfully as she helped a customer. 'Or would you rather stick with the size eight?'

'Could you look for a size ten please? I want a dress that fits.'

Ecie nodded then went into the stock room to find the correct dress.

'How's it going?' Stacy asked walking into the room.

'The usual,' Ecie replied checking through dresses. 'How has your morning been?'

'The usual,' Stacy replied opening a new box. 'What time do you get off for lunch?'

'Twenty minutes,' Ecie replied. 'Do you want to grab a bite to eat?'

'Sure,' Stacy said as she unpacked the box looking for an item. She shook her head. 'Have you seen a cobalt blue Tibi Ponte paneled jersey dress? I could have sworn that I ordered it last week.'

'What size are you looking for?' Ecie asked. 'We've only got sixes, fours and eights.'

'A six,' Stacy replied.

Ecie pulled the dress down from the rack then passed it to Stacy. 'That dress is so cute. I think I might buy one myself.'

'If we ever get finished with this first,' Stacy laughed taking the dress out of its plastic covering. 'I'll meet you in the back room in twenty minutes?'

'Yeah,' Ecie replied as she pulled down a multicolored shift dress. 'Have fun.'

Stacy stuck out her tongue as she left the room, followed closely by Ecie.

'Did you ever get round to finishing that English essay?' Stacy asked as they went for lunch.

'Yeah,' Ecie replied. 'I managed to finish it.'

'What grade did you get?'

'I got an A,' Ecie replied. 'But I think it was more a sympathy grade because I was in the hospital for so long.'

'You're not in high school anymore are you?' Stacy asked.

'No,' Ecie replied. 'I'm finishing the semester at home.'

'So that explains why you've been able to pick up more shifts,' Stacy laughed. 'I was beginning to wonder how superhuman you were.'

Ecie laughed. 'My parents didn't want me coming back to work, but I figured that I won't be working here anymore after summer so I may as well get the most out of it that I can.'

'Oh yeah,' Stacy nodded. 'You're going to LA.'

Ecie nodded. 'I just don't want to leave. Chêne de Pois has been my home for like four years and it would just suck to leave.'

'You know,' Stacy said. 'We've got stores in LA. You could look into getting transferred to that store.'

'You think I'll be able to do that?' Ecie asked.

'I don't see why not,' Stacy replied. 'After all, you have been working there for four years. I don't see why they wouldn't let you transfer.'
