'I totally thought that this holiday would have zero drama,' Esme said when she was out shopping with Verde and Sara. 'It's like drama just seems to follow us wherever we go.'

'Do you know what happened?' Sara asked.

'I think that Grayson and E were talking and Langley just went psycho,' Verde replied. 'He just started beating him up.'

'What got into Langley? Was he drunk?'

'Maybe,' Esme said. 'I saw him at the bar before knocking back tequila like it was water.'

'I just feel sorry for Ecie,' Sara said. 'She was so angry at Langley for doing that.'

'I would be too,' Verde said. 'It's like he just wanted to start something.'

'Cabo is supposed to be fun and relaxing,' Esme said. 'I think I'm starting to get bored of it here.'

'Markus says we're going somewhere really awesome tonight,' Sara said. 'Hopefully it won't be as chaotic as last night.'

'I want to find some really cool souvenirs,' Verde said as they walked around the town. 'Is there a shop here or something?'

'Hey look,' Esme said pointing. 'This place looks cool.'

They walked into a small souvenir shop and looked around at the different items that were on sale.

'I might get this for Taylor,' Esme laughed holding up a tee that read "my girlfriend went to Cabo and all I got was this lousy t-shirt". 'That's funny.'

'Will you get him anything else?'

'No,' Esme grinned. 'I think this tee will be enough.'

'Do you miss having him here?' Sara asked looking at a lantern.

'Yeah,' Esme replied. 'But this isn't his kind of thing, so he would never have come along with me.'

'I can't believe that you guys have been together for a whole year,' Verde said. 'That's really cool. Are you going to stay together for college?'

'We don't know yet,' Esme replied. 'It all depends on where I go.'

'What about you and Ed?' Sara asked. 'I have not seen him in forever. How is he?'

'He's travelling at the moment,' Verde replied. 'We decided to take a break until we were sure it was what we both wanted.'

'Did you have a good summer together?' Esme asked.

'It was great,' Verde nodded. 'But towards the end I started feeling so guilty about everything. There I was making such a fuss for Ed to commit, and I haven't even told my parents yet.'

'Ed understands?' Sara asked.

'Yeah he does,' Verde said. 'I just can't help but feel so weird about the whole thing. I should tell my parents, but I don't know how they'll take it.'

'You know that you can always come live with us,' Esme said. 'Mom has pretty much already adopted you, and you're going to college in September.'

Esme sat down with Sara, Paul and Verde and ordered some lunch.

'I love seafood restaurants,' Sara said. 'Fish tastes so good.'

'I know,' Esme agreed. 'Have you ever been to Fish Heaven in Newport? They serve the best seafood in the world.'

'We'll have to check it out when we get home,' Sara replied. 'I get such bad fish cravings.'

'I wanted to go scuba diving here,' Verde said. 'But all of the tours were completely booked up.'

'We went scuba diving in Catalina,' Esme said. 'Why would you want to do it again here?'

'I love the rubber fins we get,' Verde laughed sipping at his ice water. 'It's so cool being underwater with the fish and stuff.'

'There's nothing to really do in Cabo,' Paul said. 'The only stuff here is surfing and lying on the beach.'

'They have activities and things,' Sara said. 'All you have to do is ask.'

'They have some good stores here,' Esme added. 'Some of the little places where you can buy food is really good as well. I think you just have to look before you find something to do.'

'I wanted to get my portrait done,' Sara grinned. 'I thought it'd be really cool.'

'Where do you get them done?' Esme asked.

'I saw a sign somewhere when we were walking,' Sara replied. 'How cool would that be?'

Paul looked at Sara.

'What?' she said.

'Why do you want to get your portrait done?'

'I want to take something home with me,' Sara replied. 'We could get one done together. It'd be like a tattoo only when we break up, I won't regret getting it done.'

'Oh you are so funny,' Paul said kissing Sara on the lips. 'You are so hilarious.'

'It's only for you,' Sara smiled. 'I know how much you love it.'
