'Are you sure this is the right address?' Ecie asked looking out of the window of Esme's ibis white Audi A5 coupe. 'This house is kind of massive and there's a giant gate.'

'I went through moms address book,' Esme said scrolling through the notes on her black iPhone 4. 'See look, this is the right address.'

Ecie looked down at her sister's phone then back out at the house.

Esme moved forward a little and looked past her sister at the house. 'This place is big.'

'Quick,' Ecie said pushing Esme. 'The gate is opening. Drive round the corner.'

Esme started up the engine quickly and drove her car around the corner.

'Did you manage to get a look?' she asked.

Ecie shook her head. 'I think he's kind of tall.'

'How tall?'

'He looks about six five,' Ecie replied. 'Maybe a little taller.'

'I guess that's a plus,' Esme replied.

A black Maserati Quattroporte drove past Esme's car and down the road, and Esme restarted her engine and followed it, making sure not to be too obvious.

'This is turning out to be a little different to what I expected,' Ecie said as they followed the black car. 'Who knew he'd live in such a big house and drive such a nice car?'

'I bet he's a millionaire,' Esme replied turning a corner.

They followed the car until it came to a restaurant. Esme parked her car in a vacant spot and they watched as a tall tanned man with dark brown hair and a light beard stepped out from the driver's seat of the Maserati. The man was wearing a black suit and white shirt and carried a garment bag in one hand.

'Oh heaven have mercy,' Ecie gawked. 'He is definitely a Greek god.'

The man looked in their direction before closing his door and locking it. He then looked around the parking lot before heading into the restaurant via the back exit.

'Do you think he saw us?'

'I don't think so,' Ecie replied looking at the back door of the restaurant. 'Drive around the front, I want to see what the place is called.'

Ecie sat back as she read the computer screen. 'I don't think that Eric's a chef in a restaurant.'

'Me neither,' Esme replied. She read the screen again. 'I think he owns the restaurant.'

'"Curtain was first established by chef and entrepreneur, Eric Curtain-Wright, in the late nineties,' Ecie read. '"Starting out as a chef in Guilio's, Curtain-Wright left the company to pursue a solo culinary career. There are now six Curtain's in the US alone and at least twenty restaurants worldwide".'

'"The self made billionaire who developed a taste for cooking growing up in California, loves coming up with new recipes and has been voted Best Chef sixteen times by several magazines. His restaurants have won numerous awards and he is looking to start a chain of night clubs in the next five years to accompany his already successful hotels",' Esme turned back to her sister. 'He's a billionaire?'

'Mom's dating a hunky billionaire,' Ecie tried sounding cool. 'How did they even meet?'

'Well then what do we do?' Esme asked. 'Do we continue?'

'Oh yes,' Ecie nodded leaning forward and clicking on the screen. 'We need to find out more about this guy.'

Esme nodded.
