'I'm really looking forward to the Malibu Surf,' Taylor said holding Esme's hands and playing with her fingers. 'I think it'll be really good publicity for the store.'
'Did you ask Ecie about it?'
'Not yet,' he replied. 'I thought I'd wait for the optimum time to do it.'
'I think you should ask her soon,' Esme said. 'You don't want her to have already bought a bikini.'
Taylor nodded. 'I hope she wins this year.'
'Don't use her as some kind of display,' Esme said.
'I'm not,' Taylor said. 'But if she does win again, that would be really great.'
'Won't you be competing?'
'Oh yeah,' Taylor nodded. 'I just haven't been able to get in that much surf time lately, which kind of sucks.'
'You'll be fine,' Esme replied. 'Do you want to do anything later?'
'I need to go home,' Taylor said. 'I left a ton of stuff at my apartment.'
'Did you remember to get your groceries?' Esme asked.
'I guess I forgot,' Taylor replied. 'But I don't think it matters anyway, I don't really eat at home.'
'I'll get you some groceries,' Esme said. 'Then I can meet you at your place.'
'And we can spend the weekend together.'
'Yeah,' Esme nodded. 'I think I want to take a boat ride in the marina.'
'You can do whatever you want,' Taylor laughed. 'Did you start on your story yet?'
'No,' Esme replied. 'I feel like I need to speak to your grandmother again. Do you want to head up there soon?'
'I don't have enough time,' Taylor replied. 'I'm really busy with stuff down here. I wouldn't mind driving you up, but I wouldn't be able to stay overnight.'
Esme nodded. 'Well that'll be fine. I don't mind going alone.'
Taylor kissed the top of Esme's head. 'You know, you're pretty cute.'
Esme laughed. 'You're pretty cute yourself,' she kissed him on the lips. 'You know, I was reading this article about guys wishing that they were their girlfriends.'
'You're crazy,' Taylor laughed kissing Esme. 'I bet you made that up.'
'I didn't,' Esme laughed. 'It's true. They wish they could be as cute as their girlfriends, so they get really jealous of them.'
'Now I know you're lying.'
'Do you ever wish you were me?' Esme giggled as she let go of Taylor's hands and climbed on top of him. She kissed him on the lips and he kissed her back.
'Only because you get to look at my beautiful face all day long,' Taylor laughed placing his hands on her waist. He kissed her then pushed some hair from her face and kissed her again. 'Other than that, I think you're pretty standard.'
'I'm pretty standard?' Esme laughed. She sat back and pulled off her black tank top. 'I see.'
'You're still looking standard to me,' Taylor laughed.
'Okay then,' Esme replied kissing him. 'Let me try and make you fall in love with me again.'
Taylor laughed. 'We could be here all day.'
'Well then we'd better get started,' Esme laughed kissing Taylor. She pulled off his tee and kissed his chest. 'How about now?' she ran her hand up and down his body.
