'How have you been?' Esme asked as she snuggled into Taylor. 'I've missed you.'

'Really?' Taylor said. 'You never miss you; you can never wait to get away from me.'

'Oh shut up,' Esme laughed hitting Taylor. 'What have you been up to this weekend?'

'Nothing much,' Taylor replied. 'I just went to work and met up with a couple of my friends. What have you been doing?'

'E and I went to look at our apartment,' Esme replied. 'Then dad took us car shopping and we got a new car.'

'Sounds impressive,' Taylor said. 'Did you get me anything?'

'I didn't see anything I thought you'd like,' Esme replied. 'You have to see the apartment though, it is so amazing.'

'Where is it?'

'It's on Wilshire Boulevard and it's like two minutes away from UCLA,' Esme replied. 'I know that must sound kind of weird.'

'Why didn't you find a place close to your actual college?' Taylor said. 'How far will you have to travel?'

'Like half an hour,' Esme replied. 'But it'll totally be worth it. We got two penthouses and we're putting them together to have a super big apartment.'

'You got a penthouse?' Taylor looked at Esme. 'Really?'

'Yeah,' Esme nodded. 'When you come and see it, you'll fall in love with it.'

'Do you think I'll love it more than you?'

'I don't think you'll love it as much as me,' Esme said. 'I'm just too lovable.'

'I wouldn't totally agree,' Taylor kissed Esme. 'I could think of things that I love a little more than you.'

'What are they?'

'I'm not telling,' Taylor grinned. 'You'll have to find them out for yourself.'

Esme shrugged. 'I don't even want to know anyway.'

Taylor kissed Esme again. 'So what car did you guys get?'

'Well E got a hybrid Porsche Cayenne and I got a BMW convertible,' Esme replied. 'I think we'll be getting them the day before we leave.'

'Looks like mommy and daddy know how to spoil their kids,' Taylor said. 'Aren't you lucky?'

'Whenever they spend so much money on us, there is always a catch,' Esme said. 'They never give anything for free.'

'What do you guys need to do?'

'We have to pay for our food, gas and clothes,' Esme replied. 'Anything that we need, we have to pay for ourselves. Also we have to work really hard and can't do anything wrong otherwise we'll be homeless.'

Taylor laughed. 'Your parents are so cool.'

'It's mean,' Esme said. 'I don't even have a job so Ecie'll have to be paying for all our stuff for a while.'

'Huh-hmm,' Taylor nodded. 'Are you going to look for a job?'

'I was thinking that if I interned somewhere then my parents would still give us money,' Esme said. 'It's like a job, just unpaid.'

'Where are you going to intern?' Taylor asked. 'Have you even thought about it?'

'I've made a list somewhere,' Esme sighed tiredly. 'But I'll look into it over the summer.'

'Well you know that if you ever needed a job for a while, I could help you out,' Taylor said. 'I wouldn't want you to feel like you had to or anything, but if you ever really needed a job, I'd give you one.'

'Thanks Taylor,' Esme smiled. 'That's nice of you.'

Taylor laughed. 'I love you too.'
