'It is so nice out here,' Sara Wentworth said smiling up at the sun. 'I never want to go home.'

'We live in the sun,' Esme said looking over at her best friend. 'This is just like being at home.'

Sara shrugged. 'This is better because we don't have such a large group of people. It's a nice select few.'

'Yeah,' Esme agreed. 'Are you happy that Paul couldn't come.'

'A little bit,' Sara replied. She picked up her cell phone and checked it. 'Although he calls every ten seconds and texts me every second. I'm going to switch it off and enjoy ten days of no Paul.'

Esme laughed. 'I bet he's going to turn up here in a couple of days if you switch off your cell.'

Sara shrugged. 'I don't care. He can do what he wants. All I want is a nice break.'

Esme smiled. 'This is really nice.'

Sara nodded. 'Is Taylor going to check up on you?'

'I don't think so,' Esme replied. 'He's used to these trips by now.'

'I can't believe he was so cool about Catalina and Cabo,' Sara replied. 'Paul would have totally freaked out.'

'Taylor and Paul are very different guys,' Esme replied. 'Taylor is much more laid back than Paul and a lot less clingy.'

'Doesn't it bother you?'

'No,' Esme replied. 'Taylor and I have a good gap between us. Sure we spend a lot of time together, but it doesn't mean that we don't know how to be apart.'

'Okay then,' Sara nodded. 'But then does it bother you that he's like four years older than you? He's probably been with more people than you have.'

'I don't care about that,' Esme replied. 'Taylor's with me now so I shouldn't be worrying about who else he's been with.'

'I suppose,' Sara said. 'But still, you must sometimes feel a little inadequate.'

'Sara,' Esme said getting up and looking at her friend. 'What is this all about?'

'Nothing,' Sara replied. 'I was just thinking about you and Taylor and how you get your relationship to work. It just got me thinking that he's an adult and Paul is a teenager. I wanted to compare them.'

Esme laughed. 'Seriously Sara?'

'What?' Sara laughed. 'Lately I've been comparing Paul with all of my friends' boyfriends. I want to know if it's normal.'

'Taylor lives in his own world for most of the time,' Esme said. 'But it's nice when I'm in it too.'

'Does it suck that he can drink in places and you can't?'

'No Sara,' Esme replied. 'We don't really go out to dinners unless its family meals.'

'Do you think that Taylor gets a bit weirded out by how close you are to your family?' Sara asked. 'I mean, you're really involved with your family and they have a great influence on you. Do you think it kind of gets in the way of your relationship?'

'How about we talk about something else,' Esme said closing her eyes.

'Are you still sleeping?' Joey asked pulling back the sheets a little bit. 'It's like six o'clock already.'

'I had to get up so early,' Ecie replied pulling the sheets back over her head. 'Then I had to drive for three hours whilst Esme slept.'

Joey stepped back with her hands on her hips. A moment later Ecie pulled the sheets back and looked at her best friend.

'When did you get here?'

'Six hours ago,' Joey replied. 'You've been sleeping all day.'

Ecie got out of bed slowly and rubbed her head. 'Where is everybody?'

'Downstairs by the pool,' Joey replied sitting down on the bed. 'I thought we might go down in a bit.'

'Okay,' Ecie nodded. 'Do you know who else is here?'

'Markus, Sara and Owen are here,' Joey replied. 'Grayson might be coming later, but I think everyone else dropped out.'

Ecie nodded. 'I need to get dressed.'
