"The worst kind of pain is when you're smiling just to keep the tears from falling."

He came barging in and unsteadily marched towards her. He pulled her blanket and she became paralyzed. She gasped and he placed his finger on her lips.

"Shhh..Baka marinig tayo ng mama mo. Sige ka, baka di matuloy ang paglalaro natin." He said as her tears fell down from her cheeks.

"Wag po.." Angel whispered but he pinned her to the bed.

She had no control. She was frozen. Tila napako ang buong katawan niya sa kama at walang nagawa kundi ang humiga at abusuhin ng kanyang amain...

Kinabukasan, pumasok siya at tila walang nangyari. She just walked along the hallway and didn't care about the people around her.

"Di kaba nagsasawa sa ganitong routine?" Sabi ni Paul habang naglalakad sa gilid ni Angel.

Pumasok siya sa silid at umupo sa gilid. Umalog ng bahagya ang mundo niya nang natamaan ang kanyang ulo ng isang basketball.

"Woah! Hahaha! Sorry about that! Didn't see you right there! Hahaha!" Jack laughed as he walked towards beside Angel to get the ball.

She kept her tears from falling and decided not to utter a word. She caressed her head to ease the pain.

"Ayan! Nganga kananaman?! Tsk! Kaya ka parating inaaway eh, kase di ka marunong lumaban! Walang api kung walang magpapaapi!" Paul said and sat infront of Angel.

Fiona,Shiena,Harriet and Prince happily went inside the room. Harriet's arm is clinging on Prince's arm. Harriet glared at Angel when she saw Prince glanced at her.

"Oh ayan na ang Prince Charming mo! Ilatag mo nayang red carpet papunta sa wasak mo ng puso! Dagdagan mo pa ng trumpets para mas lalo siyang maingganyo!" Paul said sarcastically.

Prince sat beside Harriet and they were sweet with each other. Harriet is just playing with Prince hair and kissed him on the cheek. Angel just displayed a poker face. She didn't want to be obvious that she's hurting on the inside.

"Look how happy he is right now. He's happy without you. I bet he wouldn't mind if you'll disappear in this world. You mean nothing to him, nothing!" Paul said and it broke her heart.

"Tama na!! Pwede ba? Okay nanga diba?! Alam ko na,oo!! Wag mo nang ipangalandakan iyan sa akin! Akala ko dati kakampi kita, pero ngayon, sinasaktan mo na ako! Katulad karin nila!" Angel blurted out and wasn't able to control her anger.

The people inside the room were obviously shocked. It was the first time they saw Angel mad. Their eyebrows met and they started to whisper on each other's ear.

"Baliw nga siya." One said.

"Ehh! Nakakatakot naman! Sino kaya ang kinakausap niya?" The other said.

"Baka mga demonyo o mga ligaw na kaluluwa!" Sabi pa nung isa.

Angel was obviously shocked about what happened. She just took a deep breath,kept calm and closed her eyes. When she opened them, Paul was gone. She glanced every corner of the room and Paul was totally gone.

"Oh Angel. Hahaha! Who are you talking to? Ikaw lang naman mag-isa dito ah! Don't tell me, pinapagalitan mo ang imaginary friend mo?" Harriet said and laughed uncontrollably.

"Malala kana yata Angel. Ang dapat sayo, ikulong sa mental!" Shiena said and laughed out loud.

"Kaya walang lumalapit at nagmamahal saiyo eh kase you're weird and crazy!" Fiona added and they all laughed together.

Prince was shocked about what happened. Ayaw niyang maniwala na nababaliw na si Angel pero narinig at nakita niya ang buong pangyayari. He saw her scold an empty space infront of her. She must be really depressed about what's happening to her life.

Angel was so scared about what she's hearing right now. Di niya alam na guni-guni niya lang pala ang taong nandyan sa gilid niya sa twing malungkot,natatakot at nasasaktan siya, at yun ay si Paul.
Tumakbo siya palabas ng silid at walang pakialam kung sino ang mabangga niya. Gusto niyang magtago at lamunin na ng lupa ng tuluyan. Nagulat nalang siya nang may humila sa braso niya dahilan ng bigla niyang pagtigil.

"Where are you going?" Narinig niyang sabi ni Prince. She can't look at him in the eye. She was so embarrassed.

"Iwan mo na ako please! Kalimutan mo nanga ako diba? Di paba malinaw saiyo yun?"

"But.."

"I'm tired, Prince. Ayoko na! Kung alam mo lang ko gaano ko sinusubukang ngumiti para lang gumaan ang pakiramdam ko!" She said as her tears raced down on her rosy cheeks.

"I'm sorry.."

"Yan nalang ba parati ang sasabihin mo? Wala nabang ibang laman yang bibig mo kundi 'sorry' ha?! At ano pa? Oh you look nice! Oh admire you, Angel! Oh I really do! Oh shut up! You know what? I'm tired of being the good girl! An angel as they say! Being good to others is a waste of time! Take it from me cause I learned it the hard way! People don't really appreciate you or what you do! They'll just see you when they need you!" Angel exclaimed and catched her breath.

He bowed and didn't know what to say to comfort her. He was running out of words. Napailing nalang si Angel at nagpatuloy sa paglakad ngunit naabutan nanaman siya ni Prince at hinila muli ang braso niya.

"Don't go." He said.

"Goodbye. Remember this face cause it's not going to cry for anyone else anymore!" She said and wiped her tears away before she left.

He was blank. Wala siyang magawa kundi ang tumunganga. He wasn't sure about what she was feeling right now. He is mad at himself because he doesn't know what to do. He just know that she's broken..
