No POV:

Lauren had no idea how to answer to her father's words. She could tell that he was being completely honest with her but that still didn't make her question why he decided to now be her actual dad considering the many chances he had before everything happened to her. She wanted to give him the chance it was clear but could she really trust him.

As she thought about all this Camila just stood there and looked between Lauren and her father with a worried expression. She knew that Michael saying those words to his daughter were his way of apologizing for all the times he wasn't there for her but she also knew how Lauren was and even though his timing was a bit too late she still felt for the man because he really did love his daughter.

"Please Lauren" Her father had said in a begging kind of tome causing the girl to come out of her thoughts

"Camila and I have a plane to catch" was all the girl had said before pulling Camila towards the exit.

Camila's POV

I felt bad for Mike after Lauren had basically left him there with out an answer and I honestly wondered why she didn't just tell him that she would think about it. Could it be that she wouldn't forgive her father. I didn't have much time to think about that though because the next thing I know Lauren and I are in a cab and she hugs me tight.

"What's wrong Lo?" I had asked but I knew it was a dumb question because the obvious answer was her father.

"Can you please hold me till we get back to Miami" She asks in a low voice and once I hear that I know that her dad saying those words to her had affected her more then she had thought they would.

It had taken the cab driver about 25 minutes to get to the airport and during that entire time I just hugged Lauren and made sure that she was still awake and hadn't fallen asleep.

Since it was already midnight the airport wasn't fully packed and we were able to get through security fairly quickly so once we were at our gate I found a spot for us to sit and just held on to Lauren. I was getting worried though because she hadn't spoken for a good 50 minutes and I know for a fact that she hasn't eaten.

"Laur babe" I said softly making her look up at me

"are you hungry? We can get some food I know that some place in here must be open still" I suggest and wait for her answer

"Can't we just sit here and wait for our flight to be called" She asks in a tired voice

"We can but you haven't eaten and you have to eat something." I respond caressing her hair

"fine" she says with a sigh

It wasn't very easy finding a place to eat but when we did I was glad it was a McDonald's. After getting our food we went back to our gate and waited a bit longer to board out plane and we weren't exactly shocked when we were the only ones flying to Miami at this time.

As we got to our seats I could still tell that Lauren didn't want to talk much and I figured that during the short flight we could get some bit of sleep. I was wrong though. Right when the plane started to depart, Lauren decides to finally speak.

"I didn't forgive him right away because I don't know if I can trust him" She says answering my unasked question

"I know that you want me to forgive him Camz but right now I can't not with out knowing for sure that he isn't going to just disappear again like he did" She continues as tears roll down her cheeks.

"Laur I doubt your father will disappear on you again" I say using my thumb to remove her tears

"I just don't know if I can trust him though" She says
