Lauren's POV

As I saw my daughter just standing there looking at me with tear filled eyes I had no idea what to do. In all honesty I had put into my head that Karla would be okay with it. I mean when she first met Alex she told me he was funny and that she liked him. After I had told her that I was dating him she hadn't changed much and was still okay with it. Up until today I have never really seen her treat him in a bad way. She might not give him much attention or not pay much mind to him when he is around but I had just taken as her getting use to him being around.

"Mommy?" I hear her call me again and this time I can hear that she is holding in her tears

"Karla sweety do you remember when I talked to you a few days ago about how we weren't going to be alone forever" I ask her as I go to pick her up and carry her to the living room

"Ye-yes you , you said that one day we were going to be a big family" Karla says sniffling

"That's right and remember that I told you when that day happens me and you were still going to be mommy and Karla?" I ask her and she nods

"Well baby Alex wants to be part of it" I tell her

"So he, he wants it to be Mommy, Alex and me?" She asks rubbing her eyes from the tears

"That's right. Alex wants us to be a big family" I tell her while pushing my fingers through her hair

"So he, he wants to be my, my new Dad and, and wpwace the bad one?" She asks me and I give her a small smile

"Karla I would never want to replace you real dad because he's your dad but if you'd let me I'd like to be the man who take you to school when your mom can't or even be the guy who take you to the park or to see the silly movie when your mom or abuelos can't take you" Alex says taking a seat next to me and giving Karla a smile

"You, you'd do that?" She asks him and he nods

"You'd even have tea parties with me and play dress up?" She questions him again and his smile gets bigger

"Only If I get to sit next to Mr. whiskers" He answers making me smile

"Okay then.  Mommy, Alex can be in the family" My daughter says making me laugh

"well I'm glad you approve now why don't we go and wash your face from those tears and get ready to see your grandparents" I say standing up with her in my arms already

"I can do it Lauren" Alex says standing up too

"Alex you don't have to" I tell him

"It's okay I want to. what do you say little K you want to go with you to clean those tears" HE asks my daughter and she nods

"Wow already she's picking you over me" I say in a joking tone but handing Karla over to him so that she can wash her face.

As they started to walk towards the bathroom I hear a knock on the door and decide to get it Lord know that most likely it is Ricardo coming up to say happy birthday to my daughter. 

Camila's POV

We had arrived to Miami about 10 minutes ago and instead of me going to the magazine editors office here I sent Linda in my behalf telling her to let Carlos know that I will give him a Call later because I have something important to do. In reality those it was more personal then important but to me it was and I couldn't let this wait. I had arrived to my destination and when I walked in the stunned face I saw said it all.
