"Look Mommy Mila's here I thought you said she wouldn't be here" the little girls says

"Um Karla how about you go with your uncle Chris your mommy and I need to finish up our talk from earlier" The younger of the two woman says while putting down the young child

"Yeah uncle Chris you know he gives me the best birthday presents last yeah he got me a little robot dog since mommy said I could have a real one" the child says with a big smile

"Well Why don't you go and ask him for your present while I have a talk with your mommy" Camila says giving the child a smile

"Will you still be here after you talk to my mommy?" little Karla asks while looking between her mom and Camila

"I pinky promise I will munchkin" Camila says sticking her pinky out and hooking on to the little girl's  making her smile then run off to the back door that leads to the back yard

"You know when you leave she will hold it against you" Lauren says not very impressed that Camila was so good with Karla

"Yeah well good thing I'm not leaving after we are done talking. Plus if she did hold it against me at least I'll know who she learned it from" Camila replies 

"Why are you here Camila I thought I told you that I didn't want you around me or Karla ever" Lauren says

"Have you forgotten that I am still part of the family?" Camila says

"It's kind of hard to be party of a family that you abandoned" Lauren replies with attitude

"I'm still Karla's adoptive Mother Lauren I have a right to see my child too you know" Camila states but Lauren laughs

"You have a right? really? well where the fuck were you when she had an ear infection or when she had a high fever and couldn't sleep at night. Where were you when she took her first steps or when she had nightmares at night and cried for her mommy? Where the hell were you when I pulled all 72 hour days while taking care of her and also studying and working all at once.Huh where were you Camila because when she needed her other mother you weren't there I was through every single thing it was me. And now you want to come here and say you have a right to see her after leaving us 4 years ago Really?" Lauren shouts getting irritated

"I wanted to be here for her and for you" Camila yells back just as irritated

"Bullshit. If you wanted that you would have never left. But you left and I never heard from you again. I spent weeks even months trying to get in contact with you but I got nothing just radio silence. And if you really wanted to be her you would have tried to at least give a call and see how we were doing but you never did" Lauren yells back

"You have no idea what I've been through the last 4 years" Camila states

"Oh poor little Camila she went to NYU for college ended up with a full paid internship at people magazine her junior year and after she graduated she got a full paid editors position for both English and Spanish magazines for the same company. She is even the right hand to one of the major CEO's for the magazine. Don't be shocked I know everything and the only reason I know is because Sofi had told me when she watched Karla for me . Your sister has been here more for me then you and all while dealing with your insane mother." Lauren responds

"You only know the achievements not the part where my dad had to fly out and talk me out of killing my self after being away from you for 3 months or him having to fly out after I ending up drinking my self into alcohol poisoning the day of Karla's second birthday or even the time he had to fly up to talk the admissions board into not kicking me out after I Over dosed on sleeping pills the day Sofi Face timed me while she was watching Karla for you while you were at work. All you know is the shit I did right you didn't here about the train wreck I was after I had been forced to leave you and Karla" Camila says and Lauren looks at her wide eyed
