"Where are you going?" a shaky voices asks

"I can't be here anymore" The other responds trying to stay strong

"Oh you can't be here anymore? Are you fucking serious? You the one who told me we could get through this together. The one who said that would always be there for me. And now after almost a year you can't do this anymore? What about me huh? No better yet what about Karla?" The oldest yells now

"I have to leave me cab is out side" the youngest says then picks up her bags and leaves slamming the door as tears run down her face

Waking up in a jolt the now 21 year old looks to her night table to look at the time.
It was midnight meaning it was officially now February 27th and the fifth birthday of a very specially little girl who she walked out on 4 years ago.

She knew that she wouldn't be going back to sleep not after that hurtful memory of having to walk out on the two people she loved. It wasn't an easy choice either and it certainly wasn't something she wanted to do either. But it was either she leave or the two people she loved would be separated again.

In her heart and mind she knew that she would rather be away from them then have them be away from each other ever again. Till this day though no one really knows the reason why she did what she did and the only ones who do know were the ones who made the threat in the first place. Her parents.

She can still remember how it happened to.

Flash-Back

"Mom I need to talk to you about something important" the now 18 year old says to her mother who was in the kitchen

"I swear id it has anything to do with your girlfriend and her child I do not want to hear it Camila" Her mother says not looking away from cutting up the vegetables in front of her

"Mom they have a name you know and I thought we have already talked about this. Lauren and I see a future together and her daughter Karla is part of that future like it or not. Plus why are you so against this I mean dad is okay with it he even sees Karla like his very own grandchild why can't you?" Camila asks trying to understand her mother

"I will not let you throw away your future like this Camila. We both know very well that the child is nothing to you. all she is to you is Lauren's daughter. why can't you understand that all you are doing is playing house when you and I both know that at the end of it all you will be the one hurt at the end. I was fine with you dating Lauren I learned to live with that even after what happened but now there is a child involved and honestly I do not want my 18 year old daughter raising a child that is not her's" Sinu argues putting the knife down and looking at her eldest child

"So you're telling me that I can't help my girlfriend raise her daughter because she has nothing to tie her to her? wow I wonder what abuelo would say after you hearing you say that" Camila spits out making her mother slap her across the face

"Don't you ever mention your abuelo" Sinu shouts making Alejandro run into the kitchen in a rush to see the scene in front of him

"What the hell is going on here" He says while he looks at Camila holding her cheek

"Why can't I mention abuelo mom what are you that ashamed that he was man enough to take charge and raise you as his own child even if you weren't" Camila says back while glaring at her mother

"Camila!" her father warns but the younger Latina doesn't listen

"No answer me mom what do you think abuelo would think of what you just said to me after he raised you as his own when your real father didn't want anything to do with you after abuelo said she was pregnant" Camila continues not caring if she is hurting her mother's feeling with her words
