Run It

After Camila and Lauren's small conversation about the cost of their nuptials, both women began balancing the wedding planning and their jobs in a healthier manner. For Camila that meant getting ahead on any up coming project; while Lauren worked on finishing Ty's Album. 

"Mama when is mommy going home" Karla asks from her seat next to her mama's desk. 

"I don't know baby. But how about we go and surprise her" Camila says after shutting off her computer

"Can we?" Karla asks smiling

"Sure. Go put your shoes on" Camila states getting up and Karla runs to her room. 

"You do know that Lauren is still at the studio right?" Sofi asks as she passes by the opened office door.

"Do you want to join us?" Camila asks 

"I'm good. I actually have plans with Alexis, you know my boyfriend" Sofi states 

"Right, well be careful and don't be home too late please. You have a fitting tomorrow for your dress to make sure that it was done properly" Camila responds

"I know" Sofi says leaving her older sister.

"Run it again" the green eyed A&R says into the mic 

"That was perfect. Why do it again?" The grown man argues

"Your voice sounded like it was auto-tuned. Now run it again" The woman orders

"You tripping. It was perfect now on to the next verse" The man states

"Ty, I'm going to remind you one more time. I'm in charge. I have multi-award winning artist under my belt and when I say run it again I mean run it again. I am not here to baby sit a grown ass man" The Latina threatens

"Maybe you can also please me" Ty says with a smirk. 

Before the Latina could respond to the crude comment the studio door opens and hurried footsteps can be heard.

"MOMMY!" a high pitched voice is heard causing the older woman to turn and see her daughter. 

"Karla honey" Lauren says picking up the 5 year old.  

"I'm sorry Ms. Jauregui I tried stopping her but she got away from me." the security says out of breath

"It's okay Simon , this is my daughter" Lauren says giving Karla a kiss on her forehead. 

"Oh alright" Simon says then leaves 

"I missed you mommy" Karla says hugging her mom tight

"I missed you too baby. But where is your mama?" Lauren asks 

"Right over here." Camila says entering the studio with a smile. 

"Hi mi amor" Lauren states walking closer and giving the other Latina a kiss. 

"I guess now we stop working since you have family in the studio. Yet you won't let me roll some blunts and remix a few tracks" Ty argues walking out of the booth

"Excuse me?" Camila says offended. 

"Oh I'm sorry should I give a shit. You and the kid are interrupting my studio time. So I think I have a say" Ty counters

"Ryko can you take Karla to get some snacks please." Camila asks the tech in the room and Karla can tell that it was adult time when her mama has her leave the room..
